Great to work with and happy so far!
I used this tint to change loading lights on my tractor trailer from white to green. After watching a few how-to videos on YouTube and getting the swing of separating the clear backing from the colored tint product it was pretty straightforward and I'm happy with the product so far. Very happy actually. To separate the clear backing easily, dog ear one small corner and it's pretty easy then. Once separated, the side that had the clear backing on it is the side that goes against the glass. Be sure to get a beginners tint installation kit separately so you have the tools necessary for a smooth install. I didn't need water in my application, I just cleaned the lenses I was applying the tint to and applied it dry.In my case I was applying the tint over LED lights which don't throw off tons of heat but it was seemingly enough after an hour or so of the lights being on to activate the adhesive on the back.A single layer of the tint gave me a mint green hue with a hint of blue but I'm experimenting now with a double layer or light smoke film layer to achieve a deeper/darker green. All in all, I'm happy with the product and am just waiting now to see how it will weather, stand up to heat fading and hold up against power washers and the like. I'll update this review if any of the criteria I just mentioned fall short of my expectations.Update: 2 weeks later, I've added a second layer of tint and now the lights I covered give off a true green color that I'm much happier with. They've also stood up to several rain storms at 72mph and a truck wash at blue beacon which is 6 workers with power washers. I installed the tint on the OUTSIDE of the work light lenses on my truck so the weatherproof installation is pretty impressive.Last thing I'm waiting to see now is if there is any heat or UV fading of the color over time. I'll update again in a few months. So far, especially for the price, I'm pretty darned happy with the product other than the fact that it took 2 layers to achieve the emerald green color I wanted.

Great results, but very hard to work with
I love the way this turned out - looks like old stained glass (to me anyway!) which is what I wanted. What you see = 6 or so hours of work. Cutting these into the right size with an Exacto Knife was not too difficult, but separating the film from the backing was SO HARD. Some squares literally took me more than 20 minutes. Both materials are super thin and I tried everything to separate them and never found an easy solution.Definitely use A LOT OF soapy water (as per instructions) on the glass surface you are applying the vinyl to. It sticks very quickly.

exact
great price , good product. installed exactly as should . helpful tip use two pieces of scotch tape to separate the film from the tint film - makes installing it way easier for those that may not know how

Don’t waste your time like me
Please dont bother with this film. The color is beautiful and I wish it worked - however when the package arrive it was already bent and I knew it wouldn’t work out. When I opened it, I realized the bent was not the least of my worries. Because it is so tightly wound, the creases from it being rolled up were difficult to get out as well. Adhesion was very difficult, and mind you I have our films up before and used the soap and water method always with wonderful outcomes. I tried my same tried and true with these, and it just did not work. Some reviews said there was a film to remove and I spent about 20 minutes trying to find it and peel it but to not avail. I could not find any kind of hint that there was one. This leads me to believe how with some reviews saying that there are and aren’t, product consistency may be an issue. I should have listened to my guy feeling about this. The most insulting part was having to roll the thing back up tightly to fit it into the tiny tube packaging they sent. It took four attempts because the stuff is so slippery. Send back for a return. The only positive that came out of this is that I found a local company here in Florida that I found an even higher quality film from and the quality shows. It’s like trying to compare proper window tint to a ziploc bag with the different in quality. Wish it could have worked but I’m overall glad it didn’t because I ended up finding local sources that were far better.

Works but instructions misleading
Purchased this to turn a clear glass monitor stand pink, and it did do that well. However my one major qualm is that the instructions provided must be for some other very different vinyl product. Per the instructions my vinyl wrap shouldn’t have been sticky at all and I was supposed to use a soap and water mixture to apply to a surface like car tint with a squeegee and heat gun. The actual product I received was extremely sticky on the one side with the removable plastic layer and I tried following the directions at first b/c who am I to question it and let me tell you that’s how you end up with half the roll wasted. I luckily had enough to cover the glass stand (no water, squeegee, or heat gun required) and I honestly really like how it looks and just having a side be sticky made for surprising easy minimal bubble application on a flat surface. I went very slowly and removed the extra layer as I went and used my credit card to secure it if that makes sense.

Easy to apply with my instructions
We bought this tint to put on my husband's fog lights on his lifted truck. We wanted to add some green accent somehow. With a spray bottle, add water and a couple drops of dish soap. Shake the bottle gently then spray the area you need to apply, peel the film from the tint and spray the sticky part of the tint. Using a squeegee or credit card, work from one end to the other. Pushing all the bubbles and water out. Our finished product had zero bubbles using this method. In fact, it was so simple we will be buying different tint to do some windows in our home.

The only review you need to read...
This is a vinyl wrap specifically meant for window tinting, not tail lights, or anything you want to stretch it around, a flat glass surface. The people complaining about a non adhesive side, no there is one, the protective film for the adhesive side is very thin and hard to separate. Once peeled the film isn’t very sticky until you add heat. A hair dryer does not work as well as a heat gun would. Warm water and a couple drops of soap in a spray bottle are a must.
