I bought the Nagoya 771G to replace the stock antenna on my GMRS handhelds (Baofeng GM-15 Pro, Baofeng GMRS-9r, Tidradio TD-H3), and the difference was immediate and noticeable. ✅ Improved Range & Clarity: With the 771G, I’m getting significantly better range and signal quality—especially in rural and wooded areas. My wouxan and my beafeng both benefitted from this antenna. It's well worth the money because they give you better reception, etc.. I was able to hit a repeater in Indianapolis from South of Greenwood which is about 15 miles or so just standing outside. I wasn't able to do so with the stubby that came with my radios. I could trip the repeater but no voice or garbled voice until I added this antenna. I can't say it was totally the antenna, but it for sure helped.

This is a very good antenna. However, you must consider the application. It fits perfectly on the Boafeng UV5r and a check of the SWR & power output was near perfect. But when I tried to install it on my Wouxun KG935G it would only go 1-1/2 turns in so it would not make contact with the center pin. The result was no signal. Just for testing purposes, I made a jumper and was able to get equal results as on the Boafeng. Bottom line for me is that the NA-771G is a good antenna but with limited applications.

Had trouble with a smaller antenna and others recommended this alternative for better reception and it worked! This is for emergency response radios in our community so success is important.

I'm cautioned to make sure it's a GENUINE Nagoya, and this is the real thing. Reception on the GMRS band is greatly improved with the proper antenna. A very good buy.

These are indeed original Nagoya. They work fantastic on my Baofeng and TidRadio handhelds. Significant improvement over the antennas that the radios come equipped with from the factory.

I purchased this for my Quansheng UV K5 as a replacement to the rubber duck antenna that originally came with radio. Works well with my radio and I have ordered another for a different radio.

Antenna is very flexible, and tuned perfectly.
