This steering wheel cover looks really good and was real easy to install. The hardest part is getting it onto the steering wheel, but stitching it together is easy, you just go through the stitching from one side to the other. It made my wheel feel a lot nicer and is good value for the money. I highly recommend this cover if you want a nice OEM looking option that fits well.

Happy the product was cheap, but in the process of stitching it onto my wheel the sewing holes started to over stretch to the point that they ripped. Wasn't a fan of the texture so i probably would've removed it anyways

Installed this steering wheel cover in my 2015 Mustang. It took me about three hours over a couple of days (had some interruptions). I had plenty of thread with about three feet left over from one of the two bundles of thread. The extra allowed me to separately stitch and tighten the material around two the the three steering wheel spokes. If the spokes were smaller the cover would look better. I like the feel of the cover so far and it adds just a bit to the diameter of the steering wheel which I also like. The slip on covers that you don’t have to lace are too big in my opinion. I looked online at videos and found what seemed to be the most common stitching method. It was fairly simple. Just had to remember to go from outside the wheel to the inside on each loop. I did get it wrapped around the wheel a couple of times when first starting out. I did find that o could run about ten or twelve stitches and then go back over what I had just done and tighten each stitch a little more pretty much closing the gap. I initially just ran the thread under the cover on the backside of the two wheel spokes. However after I was done I didn’t like the look. I ended up cutting the thread on the backside of the spokes and started a new stitch and working away from the spoke, removing previous stitching as needed. I was able to secure the ends in a knot keeping it taught. Only time will tell for the quality of the leather cover and its overall durability. It’s a lot softer to the touch and more comfortable than the stock plastic-feeling steering wheel. It was an easy installation that just took time to lace it up, keep it straight and tight.

Came out better than I expected for the price I paid. Installed on my 2021 tesla model 3. The only thing I would say is it seems a little small as far as the amount of space/material you have to close the gap where you stitch it. I would recommend not to pull the thread too tight to close the gap completely when you start or else you end up with less material at that you can stretch at the end.

Not for beginners. This install takes skill, creativity and patience. If you have done sewing or crafts in the past, you should be able to handle this. You may run out of thread depending upon the thickness of your car’s steering wheel. Just buy some waxed thread made for sewing leather. The end result of the install looks and feels great, but you will have to work for it. The bad news is that the durability is poor. It lasts about one year on a car that gets driven less than 10,000 miles per year. So plan on going through a difficult install that will need to be removed after one year. A better product would be a genuine cowhide leather cover and they sell for about $60.

I absolutely loved this cover. Easy to install made from high quality leather warm to the touch very functional.. gives your car a new feel. The stitching looks awesome.. not easy to rip .. very durable. I recommend ordering a slightly smaller size than your steering wheel so it stretches on snd isn’t too loose

great fit, not too tight on a fiat panda (04) steering wheel. did not sew through the stitching but used blunt leather needles and sewed through the holes on the edge of the cover. used two needles, thread cord and put through 2 adjacent holes from the outside in, carry on round the wheel and pull tight and tie off when you get to a spoke( an assistants finger helps, like tying a bow) sew through the holes past the spoke , outside to in on the first pair of holes and pull tight and tie off, carry on sewing like this all the way round. pull tight til the edges nearly meet and the thread makes a very good seam and excellent grip on the cover. looks great and the grip is improved no end, perfect for older cars. sewing like this is a lot harder than some covers state but the end result is more professional and less likely to go wrong. just take your time and it does work.

No instruction on how to sew it together. A quick look on YouTube and we got the hang of it. Good quality with no weird smells. Looks great on my Yaris, it had deteriorated over the years.

It's NOT real leather, but at this price point i'd be surprised if it was. Super easy installation.....if you know how. If you know what you're doing it should only take about 30-45 mins. Good fit and the quality is OK for the price. Plenty of thread and 2 needles supplied. I would buy again and recommend this product.
