Bacofoil Refillable EasyCut Cling Film Dispenser with 10m Starter Roll

This is so easy to use, great product!

My god I used to get so frustrated getting clingfilm unwrapped, I'm sure you all know what I mean. This dispenser is a god send as it cuts cleanly and when you come to use it again, the end of the clingfilm is neatly stored under the lid and easy to pull free when you need it.You do need to use their refills and they are quite pricey but it is good quality film. found that Dunelm had the refill packs cheapest.

I bought this for my husband for our wedding anniversary (I know right, lucky man) because I was tired of the arguments and complaints he was having with the cling film.Although I was never bothered by cling film before I can say that I'd never go back to the old ways.This is a great alternative and great value for money compared to some of the bigger and more robust ones I have seen and the size is perfect to stash away in the drawer or cupboard without taking up too much space or fitting awkwardly.We've had this nearly 11 months and it still cuts like new and so far has not caused any form of arguments. Stickiness is good (we received a starter roll) but as always towards the end of the roll it was non-existent.4 stars because although the design clearly works and the product does last it can sometimes be a bit of a pain inserting a new roll and if you don't do it right the roll can fall out. It just takes a little more patience and concentration I suppose bit clearly from my review we are lacking in those qualities somewhat.

Easy to use.

So much better than the dire card packaging that comes with standard supermarket clingfilm that just breaks well before the clingfilm is exhausted. Also, this is "proper" clingfilm that sticks, not like the watered-down stuff (though I understand from reading other reviews, it's PVC based, which may or may not be an issue to some).However... Whilst it's a better design by far, it's not perfect. When you press the lid down to cut the film, you have to then open the lid and try and "pinch" some of the roll in order to pull more out. It would be better if the cutter was in a different place to make pulling fresh clingfilm out easier. It's also quite bulky - this won't fit in my kitchen drawer, so check measurements if you don't have a shelf you can store this on. And finally, the supplied roll was very small in total length and quickly ran out - you can't put your supermarket rolls in as it's designed NOT to fit them - so do order replacement Bacofoil rolls at the same time.Overall in view of the improvements over the card boxes I have struggled with for years, I'm happy.

This is my second Bacofoil dispenser and cutter, the first one I think I bought about seven years ago so I know this one will be sturdy enough to go on a few years too. It is so convenient to have the option of a really decent cutter for the foil container as we all know what a mess we can get into with a roll of foil. If you want a section of foil this will cut it to the size you want quickly with a 'straight' edge. Refills fit in easily. Brilliant.

Sturdy and robust this refillable dispenser works well… just need to remember to order the refills, oh wait it’s prime delivery!!
