Perfect replacement case for my 2003 SC430 Lexus key case. Case cracked when I turned the key in the ignition a couple of months after battery replacement. I suspect the screw fell out. I was able to get the plastic off the metal part and insert it into the new case parts with the controller that wa fine. Works perfectly and appear to be well made.

This is the first set that I have purchased from this seller, with 2 other sets purchased from a different seller over the past 5 - 6 years. The prior set all broke after approximately 18 to 24 months, all breaking at the same area around the base of the key stub. I even purchased a silicone case with the last set in attempts to protect the key case from cracking; however, it still cracked in the same general location. I think the crack occurs at a stress point (base of the key stub & key case) which takes the brunt of the stress upon turning the key to either to start or turn-off the ignition. This set appears to be a better fit. The composition of the material seems to be sturdier, but time will tell. I like the fact that the key case does have the Lexus Symbol versus the prior two cases not having any emblems, appearing very generic. Based upon the fit, the sturdiness of the material and having the Lexus Symbol, (vs a generic look), I think 4 out of 5 stars is appropriate. If the key case lasts longer than 18 months, I think the rating would be worthy of 5 out 5. As a side note the method used in the replacement (i.e. key sleeve / key case with a small set screw) is the same as the prior two sets with the difference being the aforementioned symbol, fit and sturdiness of the material employed.

Works well. a bit snug when putting the key into the holder. Needs force. otherwise a good replacement

Received fast. Works well at first but no matter which one I purchase they always crack in the middle where you put your fingers to start your vehicle. Lasts approximately six (6) months.

Wow!!! Perfect fit. Real snug. Didn't have to file nothin. Just had to a my slip joint plier to to insert the metal key to the sleeve.

I purchased this key fob case to replace another. It didn’t fit! I spent an hour trying to chip pieces off the plastic case to make my key fit. As you can see from the pictures it didn’t work. When I finally chipped off enough of the plastic (I even used my nail file), the case spilt. I read reviews that said it had to be modified. Who wants to spend time acting like a blacksmith on a key fob case?!? I’m going to order another from a different vendor. I hope it works. Next time I won’t wait 30 days to try it out, in case I need to return it.
