They are very hard and very similar to the OEM on my 2008 Sportsman 500 EFI. Several of my old ones were broke but I compared to the ones that were intact. They install fairly easy if you clean the A-arms and apply grease first. **Q: What material are they made of?** A: Not sure but they are very similar (possibly the same) to the stock material.
