This sort of thing, not much to say. Does it work? Yes. Consistently? Yes. So no faults with the one I got. That's all I can say. If you're thinking of buying one, I wouldn't tell you not to! That's all you get, a bit of wire, that carries some electricity as well as it needs to. That's an Amazon customer review.

Just what the docto...technican ordered.
After building a custom NAS recently, and running multiple cables from the PSU making one giant eyesore of cables I decided to grab a couple of these. I've put them on individual rails (2 cables) just as 10x HDD's running off one line seems like a disaster waiting to happen but everythings been made far more tidy, a simple run down a line of 2x 5 HDD's from one adapter no excess cabling to stash away. Cables feels well built, everything clicks/snaps into place and holds as it should.

Bought this s-ata powersplitter together with 3 Toshiba 2.5" 1 Tb discs that all "imminent failure". 2 of the discs are dead and the 3:rd are going to crash sooner or later. Power-splitter OK, but NOT the discs. Do NOT buy them!
