Twin over Twin is great!
Excuse the crude stick figure in place of my friend. I’ll be honest, I was a little worried when first thinking of getting this bed frame, since I knew the ladder could not be placed on the left side of the bed frame without some kind of modification. In the end, I bit the bullet and decided to purchase it since I really needed a smaller bed for my space. My two friends and I set it up during a sleepover and things went great! It was fairly easy, and the instructions were simple enough. As long as you organize the parts before getting to things, you will do just fine. I originally had a full size, memory foam mattress, but I cut the mattress to the standard twin size measurements and it fit perfectly :-) In order to get the ladder on the left side of the bed, I basically had to sacrifice the use of the rail on that side. I flipped the bar in which you would attach the ladder, but because of that it also means you cannot use the guard rail. For me, this is fine. I am a young adult, and barely move in my sleep. The tent which I also got for my bed serves the purpose as a sort of guard rail too. As long as you don’t move a lot in your sleep, like I do, it really will never be an issue if you are missing a guard rail! Speaking of being a young adult, I am 157 pounds, and this bed supports me perfectly fine. Same with the ladder, which does not even include the support beam due to how I flipped the main bar which the ladder attaches to. I was worried when people mentioned the beds breaking, but I can only assume that is due to faulty parts or some seriously heavy use or shaking of the bed. Either way, things are fine for me. However, I definitely recommend buying pads for the ladder rungs. I have not bought any yet, and I am doing fine, but it does hurt a bit going up. Other than that, the only other thing I would mention is the noise. As I said before, I do not move very much in my sleep, but when I do, there is only a little bit of noise from the bed frame. However, keeping the bolts tight on the bed frame really helps with that! I believe most of the noise is from the slats, as they are not secured with the same method as other parts of the bed. Other than that, the bed is virtually noise free. Very small movements will not cause noise as long as you tighten the bolts. I think that is all I can say about this bed frame! It serves its purpose well, and for the amount of money I spent on it I would say it was well worth it :-) I hope this in depth review will help anyone looking to seriously purchase this!

Love the higher guardrail
Nice and sturdy bunk bed. I love the higher rail for the top bed. I put an 8 inch mattress in the top and bottom bunks for my 4 and 5 year olds and there’s plenty of space for both of them and I’m not worried about my 5 year old rolling off the top. There’s still enough railing to keep him safe. Any younger than 5 and i would probably do a 6 inch mattress just for my own peace of mind. My kids love it. The stairs are rounded so they hurt my feet when i crawl up there but my kid doesn’t care at all. Nice bunk bed for the price. I built it on my own with no problems.

Good for Price, Sturdy, Comfy
Comfortable bunk bed for both bunks. It did not take long for 2 adults to assemble. There is enough height for my girls to sit up (6 yr old on bottom bunk, 12 yr old on top) but should mention we have 9 foot ceilings for top bunk having more space than some ceilings may provide. My oldest is about 105-110 pounds. We purchased a foam mattress, I think 8 inch for the top bunk. (Most foam mattresses compress more than the inches it should be.) She has been comfortable on the bed. The drawbacks to this product are 1. painful step ladder-ouch! I cover the slim hard rungs in pipe insulators to give more comfort when stepped on. 2. There was not ability to easily adjust the side of the ladder from one end to another. Additional holes and measuring were required. Othwise solid product!

Sturdy
This was a good buy. I ordered three and had no problem installing them. The only issue I had was that the steps were very hard on my bare feet to climb as they are round but easier with a slipper or shoe on. Overall a good product.

Very Sturdy , well built , good price, fast delivery.
Like the rectangular structure. Rectangular seems to move less than round bunk structure. Don't like round ladder rungs, hard on kids feet. Like the slot design on slats . See picture of plastic clamp slat retainer. I ended using slip joint pliers to push in retainer. Very few could be done by hand. Pic 3 appears to have clamp fat side toward slat. Use the side with no overhang for easier install. Forcing the clamp destroys it. Put in the clamp at a angle before clamping with pliars. Clamping take time but takes the rattle out. I called a friend and it took two people two hours to assemble the frame and 1 (me) to secure the slats another 2 hours. Grandkids can now sleep in one room and not on cots and air mattresses. Bunk shipped and delivered in 3 days. Box weighs 100 pounds. I unpacked it on the porch and took the parts inside . Highly recommend this bunk for value and sturdyness. Waiting 10 days for the mattresses to come.

Everything you would want (ladder is meh)
Soild. No squeeks. Sturdy enough for an adult. Assembled easily. Looks a bit more "institutional" than modern... but still looks nice. Ladder is not great and did not go on the way it was designed. It's workable for little people but I will eventually try to replace it.

Sturdy, would buy again, but far from perfect
Overall sturdy and decent value for the price. Would consider buying again. It seems all the bunk beds on Amazon have one issue or another. First, package arrived quite beaten up, but thankfully no damage to contents. CONS: 1.) many pieces shows a small amount of what appears to be rust (see pics), but it’s merely rust in color. It doesn’t feel rough or sharp. No major concern other than cosmetic 2.) many fit and finish issues. The ladder isn’t flush with the bed frame. The angle just isn’t right. Also, the extra metal piece that connects to the frame to stabilize the ladder doesn’t fit AT ALL. The angle just doesn’t line up with the holes. Pretty disappointing but ladder still seems stable enough. 3.) lots of little plastic pieces hold each slat in place. Because the slats and the plastic pieces are not consistent in size, it was very hard to connect the plastic pieces, and many couldn’t fit at all. Time will tell if the plastic pieces fall out.

Ok ok
The bed was too short and didn’t feel very durable. The screws were loose and shaky, which made the bed feel unstable.. I wasn’t very satisfied with the quality.

Not worth buying
The supporting columns are hollow ..so if you tighten the screws to build the bed..the supporting columns are breaking..if you don't tight the screws..you get screeching sounds while getting on the bed and even while you turn while sleeping...I don't recommend this for anyone..
