Rehabilitation Advantage Plastic Weighted Insulated Mug with Tumbler Lid (12oz), Blue

Got for my senior mom who has a bit of the shakes for hot beverage safety, she loves it!

So far i have NO problems with this.Contrary to other reviews ...1) I ordered and received the weighted model which is good because i have Arthritis and muscle twitches.2) One of the first things i did was to pour boiling water all over the cup and lid several times, and NO problems with shape or lid fitting. However, do NOT put this into a dishwasher with heating elements turned on as that most likely WILL damage it... HAND wash only.3) Tight fitting lid is a good thing, BUT to avoid getting burnt from any steam or liquid that might splash out when pushing it on... lay a cloth or thick folded paper towel over the top when pushing it on.4) The warning on the plastic bag about cancer .... that is somewhat of a concern... but i wonder IF they just meant the bag materials? IF they mean the cup itself might because it contains PVC ( poly vinyl chloride ) ? .... IF BPA that would only release cancerous materials IF say heated up in a microwave to high temperatures. PERSONALLY i am not worried because the pollution we breathe in every day more likely to cause cancer than just this cup.

Bought this for a person with a disability. Ugh. Lid doesn't fit. If only it fit....

I bought this for my mom when she started having hand tremors. She would have her morning coffee in it and she was able to drink without spilling coffee all over because of shaking. Kept her coffee nice and hot and if she drank a cold drink it kept it cold. It was easy for her to grip and easy enough taking lid off and putting back on. Great product.
