NaturesGoodGuys Beneficial Nematodes Hb+Sc+Sf - 30 Million

I had a raccoon get under my garden shed and have babies. Once babies were grown enough, I was able to humanely evict them. Unfortunately they left behind a flea infestation in the shed and surrounding garden. I practice organic gardening as much as possible so I decided to try beneficial nematodes to control the problem. Having a flea infestation is very uncomfortable so I was disappointed in the time it took to get these (I wasn't having much luck finding the correct kind locally) and then, since they weren't delivered directly by an Amazon delivery person, these were left in a different location on my property in the sun for over a day. Obviously this is not the seller's fault. As soon as I found them, I opened the instructions and prepared to apply these that same evening, hoping the heat hadn't damaged them. Instructions for prep and application are super easy to follow, well written and illustrated. Within 2 weeks I saw a drastic reduction in the flea population and within another week or two, almost no evidence of them in the garden. I'm very happy with these and would definitely buy again.

My wife and I would like to highly recommend these beneficial nematodes 3-species pack to anyone who wants to improve their lawn and rid themselves of many pests in a natural and chemical-free way. The nematodes came in the mail quickly from California to Missouri, and we stored them in the refrigerator until the sprayer we ordered for the nematodes came in the mail. That is CRUCIAL, as if you do not have the correct type of sprayer or dispenser method, you could possibly lose your nematodes to fine mesh or narrow openings. However, one can also mix them in a bucket of 59-69 degree (F) water and dispense them with a cup or watering can with large openings.The key to success is to follow the instructions to the letter - pay attention to your storage temps, and the temperature of the water you mix them in. Make absolutely sure you water the application area of your lawn or garden before AND after you apply the nematodes, and absolutely NO UV light should ever reach them. If you follow the instructions exactly and use an appropriate dispersal method, you too will gain the benefits of your purchase.Sure, $30 plus $11 shipping seems a bit pricey - I thought so until I tried the nematodes out. Within a week, we had NO more ants, no more grub worms in the garden, the flea and tick population has been reduced to almost nothing. There are other "pest bugs" we haven't noticed lately either, so I believe that the nematodes are the reason as we applied nothing else to our soil last year or this year other than these nematodes. I ordered for 30 million live beneficial nematodes to use in my veggie garden for white flies, gnats, cucumber beetles, etc and around lawn for grubs, ticks, etc. Below are cons so far...1. Package arrived warm.. almost hot inside the box. Most probably, poor small nematodes are dead but i still have followed directions and put it promptly in fridge after checking the package.2. I was hoping for 3 separate packs for each type of Hb, Sc and Sf nematodes so i can apply right ones for veggie garden, landscaping and lawn. But its all mixed in one packet. Maybe my bad for assuming it will be separated.3. As soon as i received the package on Monday, i wrote email to sender as suggested on the box for my concern about heated box that could have killed these nematodes. But so far, there is no reply from them for any replacement or solution to my concerns.So writing this review. If i hear back from seller with any positive solution, I'll update here.Update:I received response from seller and followed their guidance to see if package smelled of dead meat when opened. It did a bit and upon replying them, they promptly sent a new package. I am yet to open the new package, so only 4 stars. After I open and apply in my yard + garden to see affect; I will update it to either 5 star of 3 star based on result. I am hoping with fall temps, these nematodes remain alive when applied and kill those nasty pest and their eggs/larva.

These are amazing. I just ordered for the 3rd year in a row. The reduction in flies is nothing short of a miracle for us. With multiple dogs this is a wonderful help. You have to have care when buying due to temperature sensitivity. We live in Arizona and as long as we use it before it gets to hot and after the last frost we have no problems.

I got this and it has easy to understand instructions. I have only had them for a day so there is still some of a infestation of bugs. Ants are still there although maybe in a more limited quality but I just got it yesterday so eh. The bugs that were flying around my peppers and possibly eating them are gone. I also am noticing improved growth in a day with my pepper's stem and leaf structure so it is possible pests were under there interfering with my plants and it is helping them. I contacted them about many worries when shipping and after shipping. I guess if they are dead you will smell a strong meat smell (I did not) and was worried when the water dripped out of the pot I lost a great deal if not all of them but they mentioned that the dirt would strain them into the pot. There was also a list on how many square feet the mix covers. I suppose a downside of the seller or product is they send a paper that asks for great reviews and that says great reviews will be entered for a chance to win free ladybugs. That is nothing new for Ebay or Amazon sellers to do and they need to keep their reviews up to keep selling I suppose but is just a major gripe of mine. It can make you question reviews even if it is a great product.
