Does it work for big butt/high butt people?

It depends on how big is but normally works.

let me get this straight -- i need the chair AND i need the cover? Whats the difference b/t sitting crosslegged, on top of a small cushion and this?

We are working on the replacement cushion to launch it on Amazon within 2023. We highly recommend the cover because you can use Curble Chair more comfortably since it covers all the edges of the Curble Chair and provide good ventilation with air mesh material.
