NOT at all brown - very VERY orange - ALSO hard to tell if it is real hair - I burned a strand but it did not smell like burnt hair... I tried dyeing it to get the orange out but did not get orange tinge out so put it in bleach but there was a very toxic chemical smell it scared me. Still ORANGE!!! - garbage!
