Love this Garnier Color Shield shampoo. It works to help preserve the semipermanent color on my hair. My hair is really soft and clean after using it. The scent is heavenly I'd use it for that even if it didn't help keep the color on my hair. The price was very good too.

I’ve been using this shampoo for 4 MONTHS NOW AND I FEEL ITS NOT ONLY MOISTURIZING WITHOUT LEAVING HAIR FEELING HEAVY, BUT I NOTICED THAT IM ADDING 2 extra weeks BEFORE I NEED A COLOR!! THOSE WEEKS ADD UP, WHICH IS A CONSIDERABLE SAVINGS BECAUSE A CUT AND COLOR IS OVER $100!!!!!My hair feels CLEAN, LIGHT, SOFT, SHINY, HEALTHY, AND IT STYLES EASILY. IT HAS PROVEN ITS EFFECTIVENESS BECAUSE I COLIR MY HAIR LESS WHICH SAVES ME MONEY. DON’T LET ITS INEXPENSIVE PRICE FOOL YOU, JUST BECAUSE IT IS NOT EXPENSIVE LIKE SO MANY NAME BRANDS, DOES NOT MEAN IT DOES NOT WORK.****IT ABSOLUTELY DOES WORK!!!****I will continue to buy this product because of all the reasons I mentioned, but especially because in the end, I color my hair less, which saves a lot of money.I highly recommend this product for people with colored hair, and even if you don’t color you hair. Nice smell! Keeps hair clean & soft! I think it did help prevent my blue from fading as fast! I always stick with this brand because it’s cheap but always gives good quality results!

It doesn’t feel as fresh as after using clarifying shampoo, but for color safe shampoo, I think it cleans the best without stripping hair color fast. Always loved this brand, for the light fruity scent. And the price is the best! Subscribed!

So I bought both the shampoo and conditioner. This shampoo lathers up nicely and leaves your hair feeling clean and DOES NOT make "hair dye water" vs some non color protection shampoos I have. This is my go to shampoo and my hair is notably softer and just more healthy and have been able to extend time between dying my hair as well. Nice fresh, signature of this brand. It is effective, lives up to the claim to be a color protector and DOES NOT take up much room in my crowded shower caddy due to its slim size. There is a lot of product in there as well.

Great shampoo, smells wonderful too

I have fuschia highlight panels in my hair and this shampoo really does a good job of protecting the color from fading. I have been using this shampoo for about 15 years. They recently changed the bottle to green to correspond with the conditioner and I’m not particularly happy about that. I wear glasses so now in the shower I can’t tell which is the shampoo and which is the conditioner. To solve that issue I put a big S sticker on the bottle. The one thing I really don’t like is the flip lid which can be hard to open with wet hands.
