I bought this for my five year old who is into toy vehicles and transformers. Overall the quality of the materials is a 3/5. The pieces are sturdy but thin so that they can be manipulated when the car transforms into the robot. The tire rubber comes off easily, but can also be re-threaded to the wheel base pretty easily. The toy comes with two sets of batteries tonpoeer the toy and the remote which is great! You will need a mini screwdriver to insert the batteries. The toy itself gets a 5/5 for entertainment. It kept my curious five year old entertained for the entire week, it comes in multiple colors (my son chose green) and is basically two toys in one. Worth the purchase and I’d buy it again for a birthday or holiday gift.

The remote control was an amazing gift for my son. He’s three by the way and he was able to navigate it.

I bought this for a 6 year old and he likes it and is able to operate it just fine. The quality is good enough for the price. About a month after purchasing it I received a letter from the seller claiming they were on the verge of bankruptcy and an offer of a $25 Amazon gift card in exchange for a positive review. They also claim to donate $15 to charity for each purchase. And they urge you not to post a picture of the letter :-/
