I collect magic the gathering cards. A good way to safely store cards, especially foils that warp, is by putting them in plastic top loaders. However, due to the pandemic, toploaders have become quite scarce. The primary top loader manufacturer is Ultra Pro. The question is how well does this 3rd party product stack up to it. In my individual testing, I would say quite well.The thickness of this toploader is comparable to the Rookie Card toploader from Ultra Pro. Also like other standard top loaders, you can comfortably fit about 3 cards in a plastic sleeve and then insert it in the top loader. This is good if you are planning on shipping multiples of a card. The overall feel and build of both the plastic sleeve and the top loader is good. I have tried Chinese knock offs with sleeves that trap the cards, and I can safely say the quality is premium as the title states. Why didn't I give these top loaders a 5/5? Well as pictured, the top loaders arrived dusty which does not give a fantastic first impression. Also, the top loader is more translucent than the Ultra Pro versions. If you collect cards, you likely already know that direct sunlight can damage the cardboard. So, you generally want a product to be tinted to avoid any sunlight damage. Of course for this to be a big problem, the card would need to have a lot of exposure.Final verdict: 4/5+ good build quality+ comparable in form and function to Ultra Pro- came dusty- Needs to be more tinted

I sell cards on a popular site and use these for shipping. I also purchase from the same site, but end up not being able to reuse the top loaders I get with my cards because PEOPLE TAPE THEM SHUT, which basically renders them useless for all intents and purposes because the tape almost never comes off completely. I seal mine in bags after double sleeving them and protecting them with a top loader.These are of good quality. Would order again.
