Just the right lighting

The outside quality is nice and they look great. The bulb sockets are of fairly low quality and I could see this causing problems changing bulbs, etc. The pre-installed screws on the mounting bracket are Just long enough to install, however your electrical box must be flush with the surrounding surface or you could come up short. The screws come with locking nuts so longer screws should have been included to make installation easier and adaptable to more situations.

We were not disapointed for the price. Worked beautiful in our hallway.

We just purchased and installed two of these in our remodeled upstairs. They look great but my husband had to rework the wiring in order to get them installed. They need to make the wires a little longer.

While I really liked this style, and it's a lot brighter than what I had....and it won't hold flies like in the previous globe style cover. I do find that there are a lot of shadows that bounce off the ceiling and wall. It's a little distracting but overall, I'm ok with it.
