Bought this to try smoking bourbon. Didn’t want to spend a lot of $$. Already had a harbor freight torch so didn’t need that. Kit included chips, holder & screen at a reasonable price. Works well and will satisfy my needs. Recommended for intro to alaohol smoking.

This product is very easy to use! Adds a great smoke flavor to your favorite cocktail. Just throw a pinch of wood shavings into screen and put over your drink, light with a butane torch for 8-10 seconds and cover for a few seconds. Quick and easy! Each flavor compliments different drinks. There are many affordable butane torches available on Amazon to light the shavings. I love to smoke my bourbon whiskey cocktails with this kit! I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to order smoked cocktails at bars/restaurants. It’s fun to make your own at home with family and friends! Enjoy!

Was a gift so I really don't know but seemed to be as good as others and a value .

Easy to use right out of the box if you have a kitchen torch. The different wood chips all have a unique flavor. My husband and I had fun trying each one, we really enjoyed the cherry wood and pecan as a smokey flavor added to an old fashioned. The box is elegant, makes a good gift, comes with instructions and a cleaning brush. I'd recommend it for a graduation gift, Christmas present, birthday present, or for anyone who likes adding a gourmet touch to their cocktails.

Although you need to supply your own torch, it works very quickly and delivers a nice smokey flavor to the Old Fashioned's that I drink. Leave the top on for extended time to really jack up the smoke flavor.
