Is this a new design or old design? The picture here is different than the picture on the manufacturer's website.

My bottle looks exactly like the one in the manufacturer's one and it came inside a box. I am loving the product but if you have any doubts get it from the manufacturer

Does it smell like clove oil?

I can't really say for sure since I have never smelled it, however clove oil is about halfway down on the list of ingredients so I would say that it may have a slight clove smell if any, but I would not say it would be overpowering. There are other ingredients in the product that would likely mask the clove scent a little. I hope that helps! beautystoredepot

Why does the product description say it's "alcohol-free" when the picture of the ingredients list on the box has two different alcohols listed?

I do not have the box and the bottle does not indicate. When I have been confused about Bioelements products I have called their corporate office, customer service and they always answered my questions. Hope this helps. I do love using Bioelement products and have done so for many years.
