These bags are durable, can pack in quite a bit of food and the seal is amazing. First thing I did was to fill with water and turn them upside down... it locked in the liquid. Looks as if they'll be worth every penny and help eliminate the use of one time use of plastic bags and other plastic containers, help save the planet and money.

Honestly, I was a skeptic with reusable bags for storing meat, etc for freezing.. but Stasher bags changed all that. I have since bought 8 containers and I happily divide meat bought at wholesale for long term storage. This saves me time and I dont need to use single use ziplock bags for meat ever again.

I've been trying to reduce the amount of plastic I uses in a day to day basis and this stasher bag works great for that. I used to use the cheap sandwich bags from ikea but because they're so thin and tear easily. The stasher is thick enough that I'm not worried about it getting ripped up in my purse by my keys or pocket knife
