I bought this to replace the original part on my printer that seemed to give me issues. The first time I ran a filament, it went right through, which wasn't possible on the old part.

Really useful upgrade if your feeder breaks. High quality

This extruder kit kicks the stuffing out of the one that comes with the printer. It replaces the flimsy plastic with strong and certain steel. It goes on in only a few pieces and is really straightforward and fast to install. It only makes noise if there is an issue with the filament like oil from the Z axis screw getting on it or whatnot but that's always easily fixed with a quick rundown of a paper towel.

Purchased this while doing a direct drive upgrade, wasnt putting the factory extruder back on. I purchased the Unitak 3d motor relocation bracket (also purchased on Amazon) for the direct drive which required me to install a different piece of hardware, and it seems like this would be a bit difficult to adjust with my particular set-up, but that's no fault of this product. Luckily there were no adjustments needed on mine but worth mentioning. I would do a little research on the type of direct drive relocation bracket if you decide to go that route and use this extruder. It works, but is a bit finicky to install. I would do it again, but keep in mind using this with the Unitak 3d direct drive bracket WILL work, but with a bit of creative thinking during installation.

This replacement is awesome took 10 minutes to install... well okay should have been 5 but I installed it backwards the first time. Was back up and printing with in minutes. Delivery was prompt and on time. Will I by more upgrades etc from them YES.

This one solved all my problems, using it on my Tronxy 3SE.

I had the original feeder arm break on my but even before it broke there was a lot of slippage. I think the originals have more flex because they are plastic. This one is solid and the tension can be adjusted very precicely. Game changer for me.
