Apple CarPlay works!
Pros:- looks great installed!- has a full set of vehicle make logos to select from to display when the vehicle is started. This was a nice unexpected feature- has GPS built in, includes a GPS antenna to mount inside on the windshield- reasonably fast response when interacting with apps via the touch screen and buttons- has a setup interface that allows programming of steering wheel buttons for various tasks such as mute, volume up/down, pause, play, next song, launch radio, home button, etc (you need a password to access the system “factory settings” menu: 8888 ) and allows you to select which CAN protocol to use for your vehicle- FM tuner is sensitive and receives stations loud and clear.- screen is nice and large, easy to see with great resolution, seems to have a screen protector already applied to it (in addition to the protective film that you peel off after unboxing)- well worth the money spentCons:- To get Apple CarPlay to connect required a reset under the Android system settings.- doesn’t have built-in accelerometer.

Good value for the Money!
Installed the 10 inch 2G+32gb version with Android 10 in my 04 Sequoia SR5 base with JBL. Picked this version because of the RAM, storage, and AM/FM capability. Most Android Headunits only have FM.I LOVE how it looks in my car. First time installing a stereo and it took a lot of time. I started with electrical taping connections to make sure things work the way they should and test the unit and functions. Then I soldered and used heat shrink. Also used a metra harness for wiring into my car.Bought & installed a backup camera as well as a USB port that replaced the cigarette lighter near the driver. I used the factory brackets plus the new brackets that came with the stereo to extend and mount as a semi flush floating style unit. It looks very cool in my car. Brackets and screws are only visible if you get very close and look behind the unit. For backup camera I tapped into the reverse wire from the tailight for the camera to turn ON when in reverse, but headunit also needs a reverse signal connected to the CAR BACK wire on the HU's main harness, and NOT the harness for the camera which was weird and took some time to figure out. For my 1st gen Sequoia, the reverse wire can be found by pulling the dash (speedometer) cluster and tapping into the yellow and black striped wire found on the first harness to the far right near the stereo. Also had to reach out to the seller via Amazon to send me the updated launcher for changing kmh to mph, which they sent right away. I contacted them again directly through email for backup camera wiring issues but no replies for that one. There are very basic instructions given and I still dont know what most of the menu items do especially in the factory menu. Andoid Auto is actually through an app called Carlink but looks and functions the same so far. The capabilities are endless with this especially with many AUX connections available on the headunit (e.g. front camera and/or headrests). Sound is good and customizable, youtube works, radio works, and screen is sharp. Other apps including a version of Netflix (search on YouTube for help) can be installed. Just getting started and learning how to use. Only time will tell how it holds up. I gave it 4 stars because of the lack of good instructions and a detailed user guide. Well worth the money in my opinion, bought it for just under $200.

Awesome 4th Gen 4Runner upgrade
The install wasn't too bad. Unfortunately, it seems all these android radios don't understand that the screen can't extend past the DIN box. I had to cut, grind, and sand my dash kit to get the stereo to sit in the dash correctly. It wasn't too bad but for the money and functionality it was absolutely worth it. Torque runs great. I can't get dash commander to run for some reason though. The only issues I've had are some of my mapping apps like Garmin Explore and Gaia won't let you pinch zoom in and out and the GPS sensor has started weirding out every once in a while. So while in a mapping app if you double tap the screen you will zoom in but you can't zoom out. Caltopo has zoom buttons so I've been using that. For some reason they do not work like Google maps does. Very pleased overall though and for the price think it's a great value.

is good but it needs work
It’s slow to connect through Bluetooth sometimes you have to go in and out a couple times at the Bluetooth to get it to connect so that you can connect to Apple play so it can take you just as long to get the GPS going is getting to your location you’ve got to go online and look at the programming so that it will turn off when you turn off the engine if not it will drain your battery in a couple of days has potential but needs a lot of work

Junk
Nothing like the features I saw in other reviews. No custom background no multiple apps running like the jeep review or the pics with several widgets running at the same time... asked for update got nothing... this item is bricked after like a half hour messing with it trying to follow directions sent to me by this business. Don't waste money if you expect even the basics of the pics and description you won't get it
