North Mountain Supply5 Gallon Vented Plastic Hedpak/Carboy

I go to our local bargain bulk store and get big 12lb bags of sugar. This is perfect to store it in. No clumps, no moisture. It's perfect.

I bought two of these for taking waste oil to the recycling center. They're sturdy, seal up well, and don't leak. Everything I hoped for at a good price!

These 5 Gal. jugs are the same I've used for years. I use for aquarium water, for mixing fertilizer for house plants and with my herb garden auto-watering setup (sorry, just cooking herbs, not the more lucrative crops of today) :)The vent is not drilled, so if you don't want a vent, you don't have to have it. But it does come with a vent cap in case you do.The main cap is also not drilled. However, it is threaded for a spigot, if you decide you would like to use that way. I have several of these in a rack with spigots, to dispense pre-mixed water for aquaria. But it would also work for camping to put water on a table with a spigot to dispense, etc., since they are food-safe.Long lasting and they do what they are intended to do. This 5 Gallon Jug was extremely well built. Overall it’s melded nicely and doesn’t have any leaks. Does what it’s supposed to do. The only drawback I had was that when I first got it, the vent hole was not pre-drilled so I had to manually make that myself. Not everyone would want to do this to avoid getting plastic particulates in their jug, but alas for me this wasn’t the end of the world. Definitely something to be aware of though.Overall still a well built water-jug!

I needed this for storing liquid in my garage. It works great. It’s really good quality and the cap even has a rubber sealant gasket to prevent leaks. The breather hole has to be cut out by you on the opposite side of need be. Which i think it’s even better because you decide how big or small you want the hole.All in all it’s a great product.I’d recommend this to anyone who needs to store liquids.
