I own many KastKing products and I do so because of their performance to cost value proposition which just can’t be beat. This fish scale, pliers and lip grabber set is another example of their effort to provide quality products and a reasonable price point for the weekend or everyday fisherman. The scale has a large easy to grasp handle, large buttons and screen that I can actually read without having to hunt for my reading glasses – bonus! Plus the screen is backlit if you get lucky and catch fish in the dark. Only negative I have for the scale is it requires a tiny screwdriver to remove 2 screws when you need to replace the 2 AA batteries, they include the screwdriver but I am probably going to lose it at some point, wish the compartment could lock without the need for a tool. The positive is the screws hold the battery compartment lid tight to produce a water proof seal for the battery compartment since the battery lid has an O-ring around it. The pliers are perfect for me, they fit my hand well (I wear a man’s Large glove) and have all of the features built into them that you would expect. The belt holster for the pliers is made out of thick plastic and holds the pliers firmly and is comfortable to wear…just no complaints with the pliers or belt holster. The lip grabber works but is too short/small for me since I do a lot of bass fishing, but work perfectly for smaller pan fish (which I do catch quite a bit). I will probably stick with using a larger set of fish lip grabbers and keep these as backups or hand off to others when they go fishing with me. All in all you can’t go wrong with this set, I highly recommend it!

I love fishing with treble hooks but I hate removing them from the fish. The gripper just makes it a lot more convenient, clean and safe. No slimy hands, no bass thumb and no hooked fingers. Of course with big ol bass, you still need to hold them with your hands to resuscitate and release them; The gripper just makes it a whole lot easier for you in the process.The pliers with holster is brilliantly designed! I actually bought this bundle because my old Tsunami pliers were failing, and man… these are just so much better. More leverage, control and the line cutters cut MUCH easier, the fact that the cutter is placed outside of the actual plier means it can reach hard to reach places like tags on poppers and crankbaits. The leash is pretty convenient too, I can just set it dangling when I tie something and not have to search for where I placed it. It does get in the way when holstering but I suppose with time I’ll get used to it.

I've mainly purchased these for the plyers to help tie my knots onto my swivel and hooks. They work great so far and the line cutter cuts better than my fishing scissors. As for the fish lip grabber, I've been using it to tie my FG knot by wrapping it around the handle to ensure the FG knot is wrapped tight. Only thing to note is that these plyers aren't long enough to pull out a hook where the fish has been gut hook. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

I recently purchased the Saltwater Resistant fishing pliers and fish lip gripper tool, and I have to say that for the price point I am thoroughly impressed with these tools. The pliers are very lightweight and have held up well against the saltwater environment thus far. They don't appear to be as durable as some of the more expensive brands of pliers but do the job just fine. They are also very easy to use and I appreciate the comfortable grip on the handles and the easy to use line cutter towards the side of the tool.The fish lip gripper tool is also a great addition to my fishing gear. I haven't had one before and it really makes it easier to handle fish I catch without damaging their mouths. The tool is straightforward and the locking mechanism ensures the fish stays in place until I am ready to release it.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase of the pliers and fish lip gripper tool. For the price point the quality goes beyond what I expected. I would recommend these tools to someone on a budget or as an introductory set.

I was only looking for the pliers but the bundle was a deal breaker and got the set. Pliers are strong and handy. The line cutter is very sharp and cuts through braid with ease. I carry two tackle gear and each one has a kastking pliers and holder

Holds the fish good and the Pliers are nice and small enough to get the hook out! Also good price that’s why I got it!

Both products are very strong and get help remove the hook and hold the fish in a good amount of time so you can release them safely. The waist clip is amazing when I’m fishing on the boat and don’t want to run around looking for pliers. The line cutters have worked for every line I’ve used (60 lb mono and 50 lb braid).

The product was poorly packaged for shipping. It was in a very lightweight thin plastic pouch and had obviously been tossed around quite a bit. After opening the shipping pouch, the product was hanging out of a ripped and tattered box. This was bought as a gift for someone and looks unpresentable. The product itself is fine, but disappointed in amazons quality of shipping.

Delivery was fast, quality is decent, and it fits great on my nylon tackle bag
