Kenmore KW3050, Wet Dry Canister Vac 4 Gallon 5 Peak HP 2-Stage Motor Vacuum Cleaner with Washable HEPA Filter & Dust Bags for Hard Floor & Carpet, Black, 4 Gallons

The vacuum has good suction, it works well on all floor types, and believe me, I have them all! The vacuum itself is lightweight compared to other brands and it rolls easily on the wheels. I chose this vacuum because I needed the different heads that come with it, and they work well as well.

Very good vacuum great suction

My wife and I purchased one of these vacuums (125.22614610) via Amazon three or four years ago, and were very much favorably impressed - easy to use, and very powerful on our carpets. Although reasonably lightweight, it was something of a hassle for us older folks to carry it up and down stairs, so in April 2024 we bought a second one, for the second floor. The second machine had a problem - the motorized power-head attachment (for vacuuming carpet) worked fine when pushing it forward, but when pulling it back it lost power. After six months of procrastination, we got serious about diagnosis. Owning two of the same model, we were able to swap in parts and thereby to learn the problem was with the aluminum wand tube that connects the handle to the power-head. The machine was still under its one-year warranty. I called the service phone number provided and described the problem, and our diagnostic work, to a knowledgeable and courteous native-English-speaker, who promptly volunteered to send us a replacement "wand," which indeed arrived promptly (no charge) and has solved the problem. So - great customer service. I learned, in the process, that the word "aspiradora," which appears on the cover of the user's manual, is the Spanish word for vacuum cleaner, not, as I had ignorantly assumed, the model designation of this particular machine!

This excellent wet/dry vac was discontinued when Kenmore was purchased by Vacmaster. Though Vacmaster markets a nearly identical model (the VF408B 1101) the Kemnore was a better pick for me because of it sports an easily replacable HEPA filter and a heavy-duty adjustable stainless wand. If you pick up a KW3050, do so with confidence because 3rd party substitutes for Kenmore filters and bags are readily available. The parts noted below work well for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0894F7945?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F5PJBM3F https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZMGP71W?th=1 https://www.amazon.com/Vacmaster-Material-Exhaust-Filter-VFHF/dp/B002MUAGGE/ Likes: Sturdy compact design, strong motor, powerful suction, useful attachments, HEPA filtration, availability of relatively inexpensive 3rd party disposables Dislikes: An orphaned product should be prominently advertised as such.

I love this thing comes with two bags. I’ve been using it for two years. Does a really good job reaches everywhere high and low and all the extra parts you need. I’m huge on a vacuum cleaner, so this was definitely a winner.
