Driven Racing Oil DP40 Synthetic 5w-40 Turbo Diesel Motor Oil 1 Gallon

Love this oil. I run a high performance / custom built 2005 6.0L PSD. I live in WY, it is great for cold weather starts. It runs cooler than all the Mainstream Oils i've run in the past. Here is the bottom line on diesel oil... the higher the Zinc content, the better the oil is at lubricating your motor. The Mainstream Oil companies have refined the zinc out of their oils, and increased the detergents in their oils. These high level detergent oils work against the zinc that coats the metal in your motor, in effect, cleaning the zinc coating from the metal. This is a no brainer.

I use this oil in my 2005 Ford 6.0L. I talked to a representative at Joe Gibbs Racing. This oil is a 7500mile oil. Change your filter at 3-3500 miles and add a Qt. You CAN'T run this stuff if you have an engine that uses DEF. This oil is NON EPA compliant. It is designed to protect your injectors and metal to metal w the HPOP. You don't have to use additives w this oil like you would the stuff off the shelves. I have zero stiction issues w this oil and no additives. Those of you w 6.0L issues will understand. My engine is completely updated.

Great oil. Lowered oil temp by 15 degrees.

I use Driven Racing Oil in my track car. Unfortunately, I cannot rate this specific product as I inadvertently ordered the wrong (Diesel) oil instead of the oil for a gas powered vehicle.

Joe Gibbs is a well recognized product in the racing industry so this oil should do well in my GM truck.A++++++++
