Actually it arrived much earlier than I expected. Right out of the box, it looks very nice, not cheap at all. The case fit with the camera perfectly. For safe, I tested it in my bath tub right away and didn't see any leakage. On the next day, I used it on my HERO 4 camera when I took my daughter to snorkeling. We played in the pool for over an hour and submerged the camera with this case under the water most of the time. The camera was completely dry when we took it out from the case. So far I am very happy about the purchase.

I tested the waterproof function without the camera when I got it. No leak. Used it in my vacation, worked perfectly. No leaking whatsoever. I am very happy about this purchase. Great product.

The good: The case is beautiful and comes in a small box. Easy to unpack and get to use right away. The color is really pretty and does make my GoPro stand apart from the other GoPros floating in the camera washer on the dive boat. The buttons to operate the camera are a bit stiff but I feel this is good, the seals on the camera are tight and you want that when your diving, just know you need to make a deliberate press on the buttons to ensure that you are actually taking a photo or starting the video. The seal on the back of the camera made me a little hesitant because the door seemed to close easily. The bad: I bought the color because it was different, but it is REALLLY hard to see when you are diving if your camera is on and recording, the blinking light is red as well. Which I finally got used to looking for the red on the back, but the display on how many photos you took or how much battery life you have left is so dark from the red case you just can not read it.

So far works well, appears to be about manufacturer quality, no leaks. Pix button a little stiff and you want to make sure to push the button firmly to take the video/pictures.

I have this three stars because the rubber lens cap isn’t very good. Doesn’t stay on even in a camera bag and you lose it quickly. It’s a nice case other than that I have had it in the pool many times already and it’s water tight letting the kids have some fun snapping pics in the water.

only difference between this case and my original one from GoPro is that I am not able to use the touchscreen on this one whereas I could on my previous one. Not a real big deal for me actually, as it isn't common that I need to access that screen, and there is another way to do everything sans the need to touch that screen. Was disappointed in how easily the original one broke at the latch...……...and because these are so similar, I am treating it a bit more "gingerly" than my original one. So, to proclaim that this one holds up better and longer than my original would be as true as it would be misleading to say : ) But to say that you get about the same thing as the original equipment one for a much better price and thus is a much better value would pretty much be spot on : )

Worked the first time used but leaked the second one. While we were going in the sea. The gopro was destroyed.

The case looks great, fits perfectly and does exactly what you need it to do!
