Is this cabinet lockable?

If you wanted to lock it, you could do that but I strongly suggest you place it in an area where security is not an issue. I think it is a great product for what we are using it for such as gun and hunting supplies. If you were to need it for a secure cabinet, I would not have bought this. Hope this helps.

The product description says the internal height is 72 3/8 in internal or 68 1/4 in. without shelves. How can removing the shelves lower the height?

The only thing I can figure is that they envision that if you don't use the shelves, you'll store them in the bottom of the cabinet thus reducing the usable internal height. An odd measurement.I just read the product description and I see what they're getting at. The external size of the system is 72 3/8". The internal size of the unit is 68 1/4". This accounts for a raised footbed. That's without shelves. If you use the shelves you obviously cut the vertical measurement. I guess the internal height without shelves is a useful measurement if you're trying to store something tall. I highly recommend this product either way.

It is a light grey/gray for most of it, and then black on top and bottom.
