Mighty Mint Rodent Repellent Vehicle Spray, 1 Gallon (128 oz) | Natural, Plant Based Protection for Engines and Interiors for Cars, Trucks, RVs, Boats

Although I haven't been using Mighty Mint repellant spray very long, it seems to be a great addition to anti mouse tactics here in the country. Smells so good too.

My Toyota technician discovered rodent droppings in my car engine and recommended a poison block. I used it but then: 1) it didn't seem to be keeping the rodents away, and 2) I didn't want to poison them if there were another way to keep them away. I tried this spray but the scent was so faint that I didn't see how it could work. I gave it a poor review because of that. But now I'm trying it again and the scent is stronger (don't know why the difference from before). I've had no rodents but don't know whether it's because of this spray or whether they just went away anyway; therefore I don't know how to rate it. But as long as the rodents don't reappear, I'll keep using it on the chance that it is what is causing them to stay away. I have now been using it for quite a while, once/week, and there has been no sign of rodents, so it must be doing the job. Now I'm going to give it 5 stars.

The product itself seems to work well, but the sprayer stopped working after only a couple of uses. Before this, I was using Harris Peppermint Oil, which has the same percentage of peppermint plus a little cinnamon oil, so the scent is a bit stronger. But this jug was more economical and had the bonus of a sprayer wand, which I thought would be easier to use. And it was… until it broke. The product itself seems fine, but I have to pour it into a regular spray bottle to use it. Next time, I’ll be going back to the Harris spray. UPDATE: The company contacted me after reading this review and offered to refund my cost due to the broken sprayer, which I thought was really nice of them. I recently bought another jug of this product* because it does seem to do the job and it is more economical than the smaller bottles. I am impressed that it contains 4% peppermint oil, whereas most other brands contain only 1% or less. As for spraying it, the best solution we found was to pour the product into a small pressure (pump) sprayer and use it that way. Goes on quick and easy with even coverage. So the included sprayer is irrelevant to us now. (Maybe Mighty Mint should think about selling refill jugs with no sprayer at all?) Added a star for product efficacy and great customer service. *not this exact product, but the Mighty Mint Rodent Natural Peppermint Oil Spray, which has the exact same ingredients, just a different color (green) label and the ability to be purchased on Subscribe and Save for a discount.

I've only used it once and during the summer the mice are not looking for a warm place to nest. But I expect it will work as the weather gets cooler. It arrived just when they said it would.

The liquid inside the bottle smells very minty and I can’t really assess how effective it is. However after buying two bottles both sprays stopped working. I’ve tried cleaning the sprayer but it just won’t work. So the product is pretty much useless!

Works as advertised. Leaves a minty smell that starts out pretty strong but fades a bit after a few days. Saved me hundreds of dollars on damage repairs. Recommend.

Mice dont like peppermint. Spray has strong mint smell.

We found a squirrel living in our engine compartment and started using this after cleaning everything out. It’s been a month and no new activity. However, while reapplying, the sprayer trigger snapped off and couldn’t be reattached. The 128oz bottle was still mostly full, so we figured we’d just decant it into something else. Except, a few hours later, we went back into the garage to discover that the entire bottle had siphoned itself all over the floor. I guess at least it smells nice. Does it work? Maybe. Is the sprayer terrible quality? Definitely.

Yo tengo con él más de un mes. Tengo problemas con una ardilla, ya tenía su pequeño nicho en mi motor, de tal suerte que veía cabellitos y comenzó a mordisquear las protecciones de los cables, a tal grado que ya estaba pelando varios que se conectan a la computadora (TUCSON 2025); ahora que lleve la camioneta al servicio me comentaron que cualquier avería no entraba en garantía, como ya comenzaba con los cables le puse cinta de aislar para protegerlos. Ahora que adquirí este repelente, tan solo se ha metido una vez (me percato porque deja sus huellas en el motor), el repelente lo utilizaba dos veces por semanas, ahora lo hago de 4 o 5 veces una pequeña rociada, sobre todo en los plásticos y en el forro que está en la cajuela (sitio que le encantaba por el calor que guarda en la noche) para no dañar cables. También el producto lo convino con un sonar par ahuyentar que al momento de detectar presencias prende foquitos, al menos esos les espanta un poco. Entre ambos productos, los he mantenido tranquilos.

Tenía un problema que un cacomixtle se estaba comiendo los cables de los coches. Entraba al cofre del coche y los mordía. Se tardo como 2 semanas en empezar a funcionar pero después de esas dos semanas nunca más volvió a morder los cables

Disminuyó la presencia de ratones en mi vehículo pero aún hay señales que siguen llegando al motor.

Todavía no se han ido los roedores y ya se va a acabar el producto.
