Nothing special, but worth the shot to try. I guess.Don't confuse chili flakes with Sichuam *peppercorns*. Those are the tingly ones.

Ok, if you don't mind solid bits
Flavor-wise, I liked it, but texture-wise, I didn't like the hard bits of chili pepper skins and seeds. I put this in mapo tofu and the hard bits made it less pleasing

Sichuan Powder
I like to use chili powder and flakes whenever I'm making stir fries as well as a topping on my ramen. This is a mixture of powder and flakes so you will get a slight variation, which depending on the dish you're making could be good. It is excellent to give any food that extra kick of flavor, I love eating spicy food even if it makes my tongue burn, that's just an added sensation. You can ground this up a bit more to give your marinates some extra color and spice.
