I supplement this wax with another kind usually, but this is my staple. I could sure I’ve without the other wax, but not without this one. The value you get for the price is perfect and these guys last FOREVER. I have one in my backpack at all times, one at home and another one for my sons so they stop using and then losing mine. You can’t go wrong this this. Quality product for a price that’s more than reasonable. Just stinks that the best one is the much more expensive when they’re the same respect. It does hold much better and longer; so it IS worth the extra dough

I read some comments on here before purchasing. I had no residue when washing it out. I wash and condition normally, and use a leave in conditioner. I'm not sure how it pairs with other hair products (mouse, hairspray, etc.), but that could be why some complained of residue after washing. I hope this helps troubleshooting...
