Great indoor potty
Great alternative if you don't have a garden and need emergency potty for those times when you are unable to take your dog outside. It's expensive so I wasn't sure about it at first. But I am so happy I gave it a chance. My 10 months old dachshund puppy took to it from day one. He loves it.I rinse and hand wash the artificial grass pad twice a week, it takes only few minutes. If he poops on it I use desinfectant wipe in that spot after picking the poo. Can't smell it, which is great. There is small drawer for urine collection, I am using a piece of washable potty pad inside and change it daily.Potty is well made from quality materials. I wish it was cheaper but after using it for few weeks I can honestly say I would buy again.

Great Product
Fantastic. Much better than other products out there where you lift it up and it goes everywhere. This one has a removable insert, drains and easy to remove. The grass/turf itself doesn’t smell if you replace often enough (only 2 weeks in so far - not smelling yet)

Great piddle patch replacement
Perfect piddle patch replacement although with the heat, it does smell after a few days

Great toilet training patch
Bought this for our pups arrival. We have fake grass in our garden so I plan to move this outside for her to learn to use specific area in garden. She currently uses it in the house . Grass mats are easy to wash down in shower . Only thing I would say is the replacement grass is expensive so I bought a cheap roll and cut to size which works perfect. It's a good size too . Would also say she does like to chew at the edges of the grass so maybe using some sort of clip or velcro to keep it on the base would benefit

It’s durable but our dog won’t use it
Easy to cleanBut you could make one yourself.Sorry good idea but completely impractical for a carpeted flat.If you have carpets don’t buy as when you try and clean it spills.Plus our doggie will not use but lucky for us he was toilet trained quite quickly.Save your money or buy the doggie nappies!Sorry - nice idea but now we have a non recycled heap of plastic on our balcony!

Good start, sticky end
I live in a rather stylish marina view apartment, because I'm a successful jet set pup. That does mean that I don't have a garden though. Up side; no pesky cats. Down side; nowhere to drop dollops or do widdles.Started pretty well. Dad used a puppy pad on it for the first day or two until I got used to it. Then when he took that off, I immediately recognised it as grass and used it all the time. My dollops sit on top and are easy to clean off. My widdles immediately disappeared, so bark, so good. However, the grass mat is super duper absorbent but not in a good way. It doesn't allow my yellows to drain. Instead, they just mellow on the grass backing. After a few days of nothing in the tray, Dad stripped it out and soaked it in the bath. Then he used doggie shampoo to clean it, rinsed it, and repeated the process all over again. Mat was clean and fresh as a daisy.Or so it seemed.Less than a day later, the smell was once again overpowering. Dad has a PhD so he did some research. Without getting super woofer boring, the plastic type used for the fake grass reacts with the ammonia in my widdles to create fairly noxious gases. Stinky stinky.A second wash, same as before plus a third wash with white wine vinegar to neutralise the ammonia and out on the balcony it went. Same result. Stinky stinky. As an experiment, poured quarter of a pint of water on the mat every 2 hours for 2 days. Not one drop ended up in the pan; the mat itself therefore holds several pints of widdles before it starts to drain. In the end, Dad replaced the supplied grass with some cheap fake turf from Homebase (£5.95 for 2m x 1m),poked a load of holes in it, and all works great now.Top tip. Have a bucket or planter outdoors to pour the widdles into to make transportation to the loo easier; the flat pan in this equals sloshy sloshy (natural resonance). That's it. Hope you found this helpful, please send sausages.
