Q: Will I need to condition after using the shampoo?

I typically use conditioner after using because my hair is quite long. This shampoo is more moisturizing than many shampoos though. I've used this shampoo for many years and love it. I have celiac disease and this shampoo is also gluten free. Hope that helps!

Q: this product contains sodium hydroxide. Isn't that a caustic lye?

That is an outdated ingredient list. And yes, it is. We are currently working on the updates. The current state is free of lye.
