This is much better quality and has been going strong. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best standard extruder for Ender 2 V2 *by U***T on 8 April 2026* The extruder that came with my Ender 3 V2 spontaneously shattered. It was mostly plastic and the plastic just weakened over time since it is always in tension with the spring. I also had slipping of the filament because the tension of the extruder wasn't high enough. This all metal extruder solved all my problems. It was a perfect fit for my printer without any modifications. It is very high quality with stainless steel screws and spring, steel bearings, aluminum frame, and good brass drive gear. The spring tension is adjustable and I keep mine pretty tight so there is no slipping. The extruder works perfectly and I haven't had any failures from extruding since replacing my broken OEM with this. This was not very expensive and upgraded my printer dramatically. It was easy to install, mostly just a direct swap.
