Doesn't work - Kills batteries within a day - Poor customer service
Purchased as a gift. Didn't realize that the trail cam took a whack of AA batteries ( not rechargeable ). But that was ok until we realized that the batteries don't last. The first use the batteries lasted a few days. The second use the batteries lasted just one day. The third use the batteries lost charge within moments of turning the unit on. Something is short circuiting the camera. I let the seller know of the issue and asked for help; direction, fix, replacement. They didn't take any responsibility. Buyer beware! This was their reply:Hello,Thank you for reaching out to us. I am so sorry to hear about your Xtellar Trail. Unfortunately, I do not have any troubleshooting information concerning this camera. The manufacturer of the product may be able to better answer your questions. I am sorry for any inconvenience that this caused. Please let me know if you have any questions.Thank you for your time,Brittany

Good camera for the price
I have used these for two hunting seasons now and I have to say I am pleased with how they perform. Remember you are spending $60 on a trail camera, so keep expectations in perspective. With that said, the picture quality is great! Anythign moving is going to give you some level of blur, but it really is not too bad and very comparable to any of the high-end names you see out there. No better and no worse. Be aware of the sensitiity level you set your camera at. I did have it set on high in one spot last year and combined with where the camera was set (covered by pine limbs so it was rather dark on the camera all the time), just the sun shining on things ahead, it took a few thousdand pictures within two weeks and filled up the card. The batteries were fine, but the sensor sensitivity was too high for sure. Menu accessability is easy and very clear to do anything you need to. The only other rissue was that I thought I set the date and time on all three cameras and only one was correct. Maybe I didn't set the other two, but also may have been a camera malfunction, but cant confirm that.

works great
good product, good price.Ive found that 8 AA batts last a long time. Pro tip: SD cards can be unreliable. So its best to buy cheaper 32gig cards (which can fit a LOT anyway) than the expensive higher-gig ones, cuz then when they mysteriously stop working you wont care as much.

Best purchase! I love this trail cam!
I got this trail cam to see what's been digging up my garden. Lo and behold I caught the little varmint red-handed as you can see in my video. It was a chipmunk. I experimented with putting it in other places on my property and have seen bunnies, a skunk, and a possum so far. I was surprised by the good quality of the photos and videos. Please note that you will have to buy an SD card and if you don't have one, an SD card reader, and a lot of AA batteries, none of which were terribly expensive. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and set up was quick and easy. You can take it out of the box and have it outdoors and ready to go in a matter of minutes. I was worried that for the price it would not be a good camera, but I really could not be more pleased. Highly recommended.
