I had an old grater like this. When I saw the new one, I ordered right away. This works so well and is easy to clean. I watched a video that shows laying it down to shred carrots, and they stay inside. Works better than standing it up.

I bought this for shredding cabbage to make my own cole slaw because I'm unable to find "clean" cole slaw that isn't loaded with sugar and toxic chemicals, etc.This grater is very efficient, very sharp, and does the job. But watch your fingers. You can easily slice chunks of skin clean off. I suggest also buying one of the various type of hand protectors.I like the plastic measuring container that's included with the grater so you know exactly how much veggie you've shredded.

For the most part, I love this grater. The handle at the top makes it more comfortable to use than my old grater. I also like being able to grate cheese directly into the container that attaches to the bottom. The only drawback I have is the rubber guard at the bottom comes off a lot.

Came in quickly. Shipping. Exactly as described. Worked well with the shredding and grating of cheese as well as carrots. That's all I've tried so far with it, but it seems to be long lasting easily cleaned + a good tool for the kitchen

Like this grater very much. Has a nice little covered container that fits into bottom of grater. The handle is nice & comfortable.
