My parents have had this exact set for 6 years, so I felt very confident in my purchase. It looks adorable on our back door, and our puppy caught on pretty quickly to knocking the bells to let us know she needs to go out. I would definitely recommend bell training to anyone who adopts a puppy. You can go as cheap as tying a few jiggle bells to a looped string and it would work just fine (that’s what we used years ago with our Golden), but really it’s an eye sore. I love the “Cold Nose, Warm Heart” design. It’s simple, modern, and clean looking. The colors don’t jump out at you, and it works nicely with the interior of our house. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's cute...it might work...but. *by A***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2013* It's not working for my dogs. I have two, a 12 year old Cocker Spaniel who is bright and quick to pick up new tricks, lessons, and the like, (I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to run her through feldjager training when she was a pup, so she's very bright and well trained). And a 9 month old Min Pin, who is a little slower, but still bright.I got the bell for the Min Pin mostly, she was trained on potty pads by her previous owner, I don't do that here, my dogs use the outdoors. So, it was for the purpose of retraining for her, and for giving my Cocker Spaniel a signal for me. Previously she'd just sit by the door, silent, and wait for me to notice her, until sometimes I swore her eyes were crossed. That's no good, if I'm in another room, I need to know so she isn't just waiting on me to walk by.It's been nearly a month of doing exactly what the instructions say, potty time isn't play time anyways here, and my Cocker is an on command pottier anyways. So I'm not abusing the bells and letting them play when they should be associating it with potty.Neither of them have yet to ring the bell on their own. My Min-Pin would rather potty on the floor, than ring the bell, and my Cocker would rather wait on her potty breaks, or sit at the door and wait for me.:( ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the product! *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2018* My puppy (Poodle) learned within a day how to ring the bells to go outside to potty. The bells are loud and I was able to hear him ring them even when I was in the other part of the house. The downside was that he also learned very quickly that I would let him go outside to play if he would simply ring the bells. I let him in and out at will until he was completely potty-trained, and never reprimanded him so he would always associate the bells as being something positive. We eventually graduated to a doggy door so he could come in and out at will, but the bells were well worth their money during the potty training process. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/39087055-poochiebells-housetraining-dog-doorbell-chocolate-brown-cold-nose-warm-heart](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/39087055-poochiebells-housetraining-dog-doorbell-chocolate-brown-cold-nose-warm-heart) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
