TealCo Light-up Soccer Ball - LED Glow in The Dark Full Size 5

If you are looking for a good soccer ball that lights up cool, you found it. Don't hesitate. I'm a person that really debates on my purchases, and I think it over a lot, and research, and go back and forth, and then worry if I made the right choice. In this case I know I did. I have a 10 month large pup that loves to play soccer. We end up outside playing in the evening and I wanted a ball that glowed. This was my puppy's christmas present. Not only does she love it, my whole family loves it! My husband said it is one of the best, coolest, balls he's seen.

I was a bit leery getting this ball with so few reviews so I will add another one for people in the same boat.Pros:The ball lights up as described and would allow you to play in total darkness if you wanted to.Cons:1. The button to turn on the LEDs is recessed a little bit into the ball, but not quite enough. If you head the ball and happen to hit the button it is not going to feel too good.2. The issues in #1 isn't that big of a deal, because you are not going to want to be heading this ball much at all. The ball is not very forgiving when heading it or when someone blasts it into you (i.e. it hurts).3. The ball was very "sticky" right out of the box, meaning that it was difficult to do a lot of dribbling moves because the ball would stick to your shoe and trip you up. After a few times playing with it this has become less noticeable. I suppose this was to be expected since it is made of rubber.Overall I'm happy with the ball in spite of the nitpicking cons I listed.

When the ball is inflated, the internal LED illuminates it brightly. Our son's soccer coach routinely keeps the kids at practice even after dusk and this ball was given as a joke gift. He thoroughly enjoyed it and it does seem to work well in the twilight. Let's just hope it hangs together as well as a high quality soccer ball. This might not be tough enough to handle a full size team against team, but for backyard fun, it would probably work quite well.

The ball is very visible and the color is a good choice (not blinding). The feel or touch of the ball is not great because it is rubber. But for a crazy night game especially on a hard surface it worked very very well. Once when someone toed the ball at the on/off switch it went out. But we stopped and turned it right back on. Our biggest problem was seeing each other!

My soccer team loves this ball, especially when it gets dark by 5 around here during the winter. My only complaint is that the ball is made of a "playground ball rubber," which makes it slick when damp or wet. I know it must be a tough to come up with a material that can transmit light yet still feel like a normal soccer ball.

This soccer ball has been a hit with our kids. It looks amazing rolling across the grass and flying through the air in the dark. The only downsides were that the on/off switch is a little stubborn at times and I had to adjust it, and that the white material quick stained. This was a good buy overall though.

No trouble seeing the ball, even clear down the field. At first I thought it was dumb not to have the whole ball glow, but as soon as we started playing, I realized that you'd have a lot harder time seeing the ball rotation and sense of movement and depth if it was just a solid light pattern across the whole ball. This is a very well thought out design element.The ball is rugged, though not as rugged as a regular soccer ball, but I think it's rugged enough for many more night soccer matches for years to come.

This was a gift for a next door neighbor's child... NO WHERE in the description does it say the ball is NOT inflated... I had to run around to find a needle and pump to get this inflated... Need to do a better job of describing the product so if this were a gift to be delivered to some one else's child, they know they need to inflate it or could make a difference choice. The ball is great, and the gift is being enjoyed.
