BOSS Audio Systems CH6530B 6.5 Inch Car Speakers, 300 Watts Per Pair, 3 Way

My classic sports car needed new speakers and has very little depth (or diameter) available. I looked and looked and looked, including at that online store that has a bazillion audio parts, and couldn't find anything that would fit the depth. These do. Barely. And they're "full range" which really just means they have tweeters. Look, I didn't do a frequency sweep and look for any null spots like I do for my home theater system, because I'm just not that picky in the car and didn't have any other choice anyway. My car has a pretty awful console speaker placement, with no other reasonable choice (mounted on the center console, back-to-back, and pointing toward the doors). They certainly sound way better then the original mid-range speakers, and pretty darn good with the addition of an under seat sub.

Worked great for my car. Really easy to install but didn’t come with the inserts. So definitely need to add those seperate. Connecting was great, and easy. Volume is great. a wonderful value for the money. No distortion either.

These speakers were sold as fitting a 2009 Kia Spectra, they are not a direct replacement so were a bit difficult to initially install. Once in the sound was great, strong bass and well balanced throughout the range. The only issue was the windows would not come all the way down. I came across adapters for the factory Kia holes, ordered, installed them then reinstalled the speakers. They were further towards the interior but the windows still would not go down. I couldn’t even mount them in the rear deck which was sad as I wanted to keep them for their sound quality. I reluctantly had to return them (the replacement fit but sound quality is average and the base line is mostly missing). The feature that made these speakers a great choice was the large magnet providing the 300watt capacity, that was also the reason they wouldn’t fit the Kia. I have other Boss equipment in an Tahoe and like the value the line brings. If these will fit in your doors they won’t disappoint. Side note I am using the factory head unit not an aftermarket amp so watch your power rating. Also do yourself a favor and look for a vehicle specific mounting ring if your factory speakers are custom built for your car.

great sounding speakers. I used an adapter ring to install on ford fusion. my old speakers were dust, literally. i've seen some complaints of the bass from these speakers, i'm not sure what they are talking about because the ones i got put out plenty of bass, too much as a matter of fact. i had to turn the bass down...i know a lot of that is personal preference but the bass was overpowering the instruments and vocals. easy hook up with wiring adapter from the adapter ring, no soldering or crimping of connections involved. i know they aren't the highest sound quality of speakers for some people but for me, and replacing the factory speakers, it was a giant upgrade. these speakers are three way so you get the added benefit of more midrange and high end sound. yes, i would recommend them for someone who is looking for an inexpensive upgrade from factory speakers while getting a great value for you money.

Surprisingly decent sound at a budget price. Used 4 of theses to replace factory door speakers and the sound is great for the price,

They are not for you if you want bass in my car it just makes my car sound like the front only work even though they all work the range is limited but they do fit perfectly

No distortion from what I could tell, I did have to buy some mounting brackets so the fit wasn't perfect. No issues with the cables. It was honestly a great value for some pretty good sound quality.

Avevo voglia di aumentare la resa delle casse della mia moto, e ho optato per questo modello di casse, date le recensioni positive e il prezzo non troppo elevato, anche perché non essendo marine grade, volevo spendere poco per eventualmente sostituirle. Il suono è molto buono, con una buona copertura dei suoni alti e bassi, un po' debole sulla resa dei medi, ma forse dipende anche dall'autoradio. Hanno già preso diversi acquazzoni, ma al momento non ho notato alcun problema.

Boss has a pretty bad reputation. They are generally reviewed to be bottom of the barrel in sound and build quality. So why did I rate them 5 stars? Because they replaced the rear door speakers in my old 2000 Astro Van. The cones on those were no longer attached to their frame. The resulting rattles were unbearable. I deserved better. These boss speakers were all that and then some. Oh, and forget pulling the doors apart like all the YouTube videos indicate. Just pop off the grills, drill out the rivets and use the included "Clips" to install these better than nothing beauty's! They sound just fine and the price is pretty good too.
