Everything looks and feels like the real thing, just slightly scaled down. It makes a wonderful gift for children who enjoy hands-on activities or helping out with small projects. That said, I would recommend it for older children rather than very young ones. Some of the pieces are heavier than expected, and in the wrong hands they could cause harm.
