iRobot R3 500 Series Replacement Bristle Brushes, Pack of 3

We've had the 550 Roomba for a couple of years now and love it. Now it's not perfect. The brushes do get clogged up with hair and we have to clean then each time we run the Roomba, but it's a small price to pay.As for these brushes, they're the exact same kind that came with the Roomba.My only complaint with the brushes is that the small square plastic nub that holds the brush in on one side seems to wear down, getting rounder and rounder. So, you eventually have to replace the brushes when that part wears down - even if the brush is otherwise in good shape. If they could strengthen that part I'd give these a 5.

Wow, these made all the difference! I was near ready to return / dispose of my Roomba, it was just not picking up instead "spreading or pushing" dirt around. I could not find the problem for some time until I discovered the power side of the brush had slightly rounded edge where it was supposed to be square plastic. A test of the turning of the brush with some "extra" resistance showed sure enough, the brush would stop turning by leveraging the wiggle room (left to right) and would stop engaging. I ordered these as soon as this was discovered and have to say they seem to be working better than the original brush that came with the unit. I've been using it twice weekly for the whole house, no problems and clean floors and carpets!

I cannot comment on the quality of the product because they DID NOT FIT MY ROOMBA 595 PET SERIES (purchased at Costco). They would bind and cause the Roomba to generate an error. The Roomba would make a weird clicking sound when they were installed. The brushes were a different color than the ones that came with it. I contacted I-Robot, and was told that the model 595 actually requires model 600 series brushes. What in the world was I-Robot thinking?

I purchased these for my roomba that I bought in 2012. I had never changed the brushes before until now. When I did, I immediately received a "clean brushes error" and still do. I also changed out the rubber brush that came with the machine. I don't know what the problem is or if these brushes are too large, but I am having issues.

These are a little less stiff than the official ones, but fit just fine and pick up the dirt.

If you clean your brushes regularly and keep the basket clean too, you will rarely have to replace these. I think this could get really expensive if you don't clean your Roomba regularly.

The new replacement Bristle Brushes are worth the cost. Roomba seems to be more effective since I've added them. I also purchased the aerovac bin which was a huge improvement. Brush cleaning can take a little longer now as Roomba will run longer between cleaning. Or, jjust clean the brushed after each run.

These fit the roomba fine, but when they arrived they had a very strong odor or gasoline. I put them outside for about a week before I could use them.

These work great on my older model Rhoomba. Fit perfectly.
