Q: i want to use this in my engine bay to stick some led lighting to the hood. its turbocharged and gets very hot, will the tape stand up to the heat?

I do not think this will work for under the hood it is made for sticking emblems on vehicles. Try getting thin led strip of led's and getting them on the side of the engine bay to keep heat off it and they have a sticky strip on the back.

Q: will this work to reattach my side view mirror?

No. Side view mirrors is normally held with screws. If for some reason that you can't use screws, you can use a strong glue.

Q: Is this safe for car paint? If I remove the emblem that was placed using this tape will it ruin the paint?

It will not ruin the paint if you are careful and pull it slightly as you remove it. I recommend using a hair blower on the tape as you are removing it.
