Excellent lights for the money. Bright enough for my backing needs, and low enough amp draw to use the rear trailer light plug for reverse white light.

I was amazed at the great quality these light pods have! Heavy-duty metal housings and good mounting brackets with stainless steel hdwe. Bright light matching the wattage. Looks to be waterproof. I will stick with this company. Great customer service. A hint for the mtg bkt bolt stacking order: bolt head, then lock washer, flat washer, bracket, finally housing.

Overall I like these lights and am very happy so far. I installed as auxiliary backup lights on an F-150 in Aug of 2017 so they haven't been on all that long, but they seem like they are built decently and they are plenty bright for my needs. I did not do any extra waterproofing but you could probably enhance the seal with extra silicone. Only reason for four starts instead of five is that they haven't been on that long, but very happy so far. INSTALLATION ADVICE... use a relay and power it direct from the battery. If you don't know what that is just look it up on YouTube - it's essentially an electric switch. They are not difficult to install. It's a little more work to run the line cleanly up to the battery but worth it. I originally just tied in the wiring from the backup light in the tail light. The lights worked fine as planned but my backup sensors would freak out as though something was behind me all the time. Very annoying. I think the problem was caused by a voltage drop to the sensors due to the draw from the lights. I had previously run a separate hot wire to a switch in the bed to operate separate cargo lights so I just tapped into that to a relay and used the same wire that I had from the tail light to still operate the relay to turn on the lights when the truck was in reverse. It would have been much easier to do it right off the bat and it was kind of a pain redoing it all under a cold salty truck. There may be an option to run off of a reverse wire on a tow package, but the relay worked for me. Now I have lights when I need them and the sensors still work only when needed. I used 16 gauge wire throughout and put an inline 10A fuse to the wire going to the battery. Everything is working well.

A world of difference for off roading at night. These have been working awesome the whole time I have had these. Totally recommend.

Similar issue to many of the other reviews. The pods themselves seem decent for the price. But the hardware is pretty bad. For me the bolts especially. One of the bolts, being manually tightened and not very hard, had the head shear off entirely. I was actually flabbergasted at how easily it broke. Now I have a bolt stud stuck in the threads I’ve got to remove and have to buy a replacement bolt.

Cómo siempre NILIGHT es garantía.. son las terceras que compro y 10/10. El único detalle que le veo es que no hay instrucciones de absolutamente nada. Si careces de sentido común te recomiendo algún video en YouTube

The only I issue I'll mention that I have is that the wires are very short. You'll have to connect your own wires to them before installing them. After installing and routing the wires and inserting then into looms, they turned out exactly how I wanted. I bought aftermarket a tail light housing set from Amazon and while I do like the design, the reverse lights are very dim. There's no way to replace them as its sealed shut. Anyways I needed proper bright lights to see where I am going and to let other drivers know I'm reversing especially in areas where my field of view is blocked by other parked vehicles. They are bright enough to see where you're going but not too bright where they'll blind other drivers. I am happy with this purchase.

There is radio interference when the lights are put on. Even though cart2india had agreed for refund agreement. They did not do so. Also I tried calling them a number of times without any success. Think before purchasing anything from them.

I purchased these lights because I needed some additional front lighting on my truck - a 2012 Chevy Avalanche. The reviews seemed positive and the price was certainly right! So, I ordered up a pair, and I am very glad I did. The overall construction seems very good. There are no loose screws or parts rattling around. The front “glass” is clear and without any distortion - I say “glass” because I am not sure if it is glass or plastic. Exposed hardware appears to be stainless steel, but a season of winter here in Canada, will confirm that pretty quickly! The wire ends to the lamp appear to be of superior quality, are about eight inches in length, and come pre- stripped. The exterior of the cable appears to be a thermoplastic of sorts - perhaps not the most flexible but certainly up to the job of powering these lamps! And how well do these lamps do in bad weather? I have not installed these units to date, but I have hooked them up to a 12 volt power supply. I am very pleased to report that beam pattern is very “smooth “. How can that be? Well, there are no hard shadows or steep falloff of the beam. It just supplies a bright, soft focus of light. Be aware, that you would not want to have to face these lights in traffic. That bright beam does not focus stray light. The beam pattern is best suited for off-road use only, and not in daily traffic. If need or want additional lighting, you can’t do much better than these lights. A very good buy! Purchased with my own money! Thanks!
