These Nilight 18W LED pod lights are an excellent upgrade for anyone needing extra lighting on a truck, ATV, UTV, golf cart, or other off-road vehicle. Excellent lights for the money. Bright enough for my backing needs, and low enough amp draw to use the rear trailer light plug for reverse white light.

Don't buy these expecting to light the road up, nor expect them to last on a car/truck/jeep. You literally get what you pay for. These claim to be IP67, but they are NOT IP67 rated!!! IP67 means the unit can be submerged into water for approximately half an hour. However, the pigtail going into the housing has no weather seal, the only seal is the cheap pigtail sheathing that enters the body. The front cover over the LED's has what appears to be a seal, but it also appears to have a gap. I would NOT trust these in rain, snow, or anything but a dusty environment. Great for a lawnmower, or ATV on a nice dry evening/night, but forget about anything in any inclement weather. So, why did I rate this as 4 stars? Simply put, they work great for my riding mower and I bought them with the expectation that the "wattage" and "lumen" output claimed is a lie. My 600lumen flashlight actually lights up far more area, and at a much further distance than these two flood style fog lights. These are literally everything I thought they would be. If your needs are basic and strict like mine (used only in dry weather, stored in dry locations, on something that doesn't need high light output for distance or flood purposes) then these little lights are perfect, and well worth the sub-twenty bucks they cost. If you are needing lights for a vehicle... Stay away, spend money on quality components from a more... known and reputable company? -1 Star because they state information that isn't true, such as the IPXX rating, total lumen output, and they also claim 30k hours in one part of the product page, then 50k hours in another... Can't stand stupidity like that.

I was amazed at the great quality these light pods have! Heavy-duty metal housings and good mounting brackets with stainless steel hdwe. Bright light matching the wattage. Looks to be waterproof. I will stick with this company. Great customer service. A hint for the mtg bkt bolt stacking order: bolt head, then lock washer, flat washer, bracket, finally housing.

The lights are tapped for the bolt to run through the bracket into the light housing, and that tapping is pretty rough. Wasn't able to get bolts started on 4 holes. If I were manufacturing it I would have used through holes and through bolts, but what do I know. I may drill them out and do so. Anyway $20 is $20 and this performs well for the price. Nice and bright and floods well. Hooked up to my reverse lights so I could see my trailer and driveway at night.

The only I issue I'll mention that I have is that the wires are very short. You'll have to connect your own wires to them before installing them. After installing and routing the wires and inserting then into looms, they turned out exactly how I wanted. I bought aftermarket a tail light housing set from Amazon and while I do like the design, the reverse lights are very dim. There's no way to replace them as its sealed shut. Anyways I needed proper bright lights to see where I am going and to let other drivers know I'm reversing especially in areas where my field of view is blocked by other parked vehicles. They are bright enough to see where you're going but not too bright where they'll blind other drivers. I am happy with this purchase.

There is radio interference when the lights are put on. Even though cart2india had agreed for refund agreement. They did not do so. Also I tried calling them a number of times without any success. Think before purchasing anything from them.

I purchased these lights because I needed some additional front lighting on my truck - a 2012 Chevy Avalanche. The reviews seemed positive and the price was certainly right! So, I ordered up a pair, and I am very glad I did. The overall construction seems very good. There are no loose screws or parts rattling around. The front “glass” is clear and without any distortion - I say “glass” because I am not sure if it is glass or plastic. Exposed hardware appears to be stainless steel, but a season of winter here in Canada, will confirm that pretty quickly! The wire ends to the lamp appear to be of superior quality, are about eight inches in length, and come pre- stripped. The exterior of the cable appears to be a thermoplastic of sorts - perhaps not the most flexible but certainly up to the job of powering these lamps! And how well do these lamps do in bad weather? I have not installed these units to date, but I have hooked them up to a 12 volt power supply. I am very pleased to report that beam pattern is very “smooth “. How can that be? Well, there are no hard shadows or steep falloff of the beam. It just supplies a bright, soft focus of light. Be aware, that you would not want to have to face these lights in traffic. That bright beam does not focus stray light. The beam pattern is best suited for off-road use only, and not in daily traffic. If need or want additional lighting, you can’t do much better than these lights. A very good buy! Purchased with my own money! Thanks!
