Does this repeater work with active DisplayPort cables?

No. This repeater should be used with passive DisplayPort cables. Using it with active DP cables or adapters can cause signal loss or a compatiblity issue.

How should I connect the repeater?

Connect the INPUT end to the source (PC/graphics card) and the OUTPUT end to the monitor/projector. Incorrect direction will prevent it from working.

Is external power required?

Yes. Connect the included Micro-USB cable to a USB charger or USB port for the repeater to function properly.

What can I do if I don't get the expected resolution or refresh rate?

Ensure your GPU, monitor, and cables support DisplayPort 1.4 and DSC. Use certified DP 1.4 cables, keep total length within 32ft, and update GPU drivers.
