When visiting my aunt and offered a cup of coffee my aunt only had Major Dickinsons blend kcups. I drink 2 cups of coffee almost every day (2 kcups each time so 2 double cups). For some reason I chose no creamer, which 1tbsp of mocha creamer my norm. I drank this black. I suddenly became a fan of black dark roast based on this blend alone (Inused to do just mild/house roast). I have been through boxes and boxes of this. I still throw in some other brands on the weekends but this is my staple. Its inoffensive for non dark coffee drinkers too because the roast doesnt make you feel like its burnt or heavily charred. Its cocoa, earthy, and spice that gives it the flavor. The profile says smoke, but maybe I attribute that to something else because its not an attribute thats strong to me.

i am so very happy i found Peets Major Dickason's coffee! I have been using Victor Allens dark coffees, which i do like! Peets is now my favorite! i my Starbucks Americano hot coffee, it has espresso shots, and i ask for 1 extra shot to be added to it. Peets is just the perfect flavor, very satisfying. Tastes perfect, roast quality-very good, no bitter taste, smells great! I love dark coffee, i will stay with this brand from this day forward!

Love Major Dickinson coffee. Purchased at a very good price. Anything .50 cents or less is a good price.

Peet’s has been around awhile. I love dark coffee. I still prefer La Llave and Community coffee better. The pods are well made.

Plain and simple Petes is good coffee. In this case I CANNOT beat the online price here on Amazon. Believe me Ive tried. In my neck of the woods Petes sells for a premium in the local grocery stores, often reaching twice the retail price of other kcup coffees. It kinda ticks me off. Why? It's not like I don't care to order on Amazon but I'm already in the grocery store and the price is just.........no way....I'm not payin that. How can it be so much cheaper here? Who knows.

This coffee tastes great, especially if you like a darker, stronger coffee. I buy the larger box because it’s a good price for the number of pods you get.
