Love everything about this!
I love this mindfulness game! This is such a lovely way to teach children positive affirmations through PLAY (instead of instructing them to say affirmations in front of the mirror =). It's also a great tool to connect with your child and have a quality time together. This is also a very high quality item and would be a wonderful holiday or a birthday gift.

This cards are beautifully illustrated, but in my counseling work with students they don’t seem to start many conversations. I try to ask how the student is like the phrase on the card, but many of them can’t relate. I was under the impression it was more of a game, but it’s not. The kids I work with enjoy looking at them and sorting them, but that’s about it. Not sure that I would buy again.

Don’t get it?
I’m an emotional support teacher and thought these would be super handy. I have no been able to find a reasonable way to use them with my students yet. They’re actually kind of weird. The cards are well-made and beautiful to look at!

Our favorite evening of connecting!
We have been using these cards for about 1.5 years. My oldest daughter was 2 at the time. It opened up a dialogue for her to begin exploring her emotions in a supportive environment. It also supported her in learning her colors & animal sounds. Now at almost 4 we are able to talk about emotions as a family. She asks about mine and is able to describe hers.We loved them so much we gave them as Christmas gifts one year. Highly suggest this for all levels and ages!
