Exfoliating Sugar Scrub Body Wash Bar Soap – Made in the USA, 4 oz

I’ve tried plenty of skincare products over the years, but this is one of the few that earned a permanent spot in my shower. I originally bought Kitsch Kojic Acid Soap hoping it would help brighten my skin and even out a few areas of discoloration. I wasn’t expecting overnight miracles, but I was hoping for gradual improvement. After using it consistently, I genuinely noticed a difference. My skin feels smoother, looks brighter, and just seems healthier overall. It cleans well without leaving my skin feeling stripped or tight, which was one of my biggest concerns with a brightening soap. I also love the scent. It’s fresh, clean, and subtle—not overpowering or artificial. It’s one of those little details that makes me look forward to using it every day. Another thing I appreciate is how long each bar lasts. It feels like a quality product, and a little care (letting it dry between uses) makes it last surprisingly well. Something else that I love is that it fits into a simple routine. It isn’t another complicated skincare step or bottle cluttering the shower. It’s just good soap that quietly does its job. Will it replace every skincare product you own? Of course not. But if you’re looking for an easy way to brighten your skin and simplify your routine, I think it’s absolutely worth trying. I keep reordering it, which is probably the highest compliment I can give any skincare product.

I am a Kitsch shampoo believer. I thought Iwou;d try this soap to see if it is as good as their shampoos. First, it has a yellow color. The color comes off on your wash cloth, but will wash out in the laundry. The soap is very sudsy and good to use. I run a lot so I need a soap that will revive my skin from time to time. This soap is refreshing and helped with my skin irritation. The smell is pleasant and acceptable. For the price I paid, this is a premium soap but the premium results represent the price.

This was a surprising find. It has a pleasant texture, a neutral aroma, and works quite well for shaving. I cut my bar in half and each piece lasted about 25 uses. I leave it in the shower on a metal wire soap dish. It does dry properly between uses, but others use my shower too, so it also stays wet somewhat longer than if I removed it from the shower. I have been using the cheapest Suave conditioner for shaving and it's worked quite well for a long time. I don't have to moisturize afterward, it rinses off well, and it doesn't leave any weird residues on my skin or razor. I was concerned this bar would not have enough lubrication for shaving, or would dry on my skin and need frequent reapplication during use, or that my skin would completely dry out. All those concerns were unfounded. This bar is excellent for shaving! I trialed this bar in anticipation of a few long travel trips coming up this year. I would not be able to bring enough cheap conditioner in my 3-1-1, and my use of hotel-supplied products in the past has resulted in extremely dry, itchy legs and razor burn. This bar is a real winner. It's a bit more expensive per use than the conditioner I had been using, but no plastic packaging, it takes up less space in my shower, and it's so much more travel-friendly, AND it works great! I'm upgrading it as my standard shave product.

The soap works well as far as lathering up and makes your skin feel smooth, but there is no smell… I ordered the cherry and you can’t smell any cherry fragrance.

This facial soap has been amazing for my skin!!! Soft, moisturized, clean, no oil so no blemishes and I think it's softening my skin as well as my dark spots! I love it!!!

Kitsch brand has my heart. So all I will say is this scrub is the best and works wonders. It smells good and gets the job done nicely. It is also worth its price.

I’ve been using the Kitsch Kojic Acid Turmeric Soap Bar for a bit, and overall it’s just an okay product—not bad, but not amazing either. The first thing I noticed is that it lathers nicely and leaves your skin feeling clean without being overly stripped. It has a simple, slightly earthy scent that isn’t too strong, which I appreciated. The ingredients like turmeric and kojic acid are meant to help brighten and even out skin tone, and while I did notice a slight improvement over time, it wasn’t anything dramatic. On the plus side, it’s easy to use and works well as a basic daily cleanser for both face and body. The addition of moisturizing ingredients like shea butter and hyaluronic acid helps keep it from feeling too drying . That said, it didn’t completely live up to the hype for me. The results were pretty subtle, especially when it comes to dark spots or uneven tone. Also, if you have sensitive skin, you may want to be cautious—ingredients like kojic acid can sometimes cause irritation for certain people. Overall, it’s a decent soap if you’re looking for a gentle cleanser with some added skincare benefits, but it’s not a miracle product. I’d say it’s worth trying if you’re curious, just keep your expectations realistic.

Best kojic acid soap on Amazon! I went on a journey to find the best kojic acid soap, and this one is by far the best out of the 4 I tried. Unlike the generic, somewhat shady kojic bars that you'll see on here, this one is noticeably better quality, with better ingredients. With those, they always melt SUPER fast. Practically gone in one month. But this one lasts me up to 3! (I used them both in an exfoliating hemp fibers pouch) This one also clearly has turmeric in it as it leathers into a rich, light yellow consistency, instead of a dull white like the others. I haven't noticed it staining my shower at all, and certainly not my skin. This soap may burn a little if you use it on freshly shaved skin, but it isn't much of a concern the rest of the time. Just keep in mind if you have sensitive skin, because im sure it may tingle at the very least. Also, its best to slowly integrate into into the shower routine and use it every other day as to avoid ineffectivness, and get the skin accustomed to it. Because this soap is certainly pure turmeric and kojic acid. It also has a nice citrus scent. I've repurchased multiple times!

Doesn’t scrub or lather. It feels like plastic.

This is quite good. I bought it fir my travels as I rid not want to bring my aerosol shave gel in the packed luggage as it is a hazard. So was looking for alternatives. So happy to have found this. It lathers so well and I am able to get a smooth shave. It doesn’t irritate skin and smells good. Will buy again .

If you want your hair to feel properly clean, this is the one. Cannot fault it. Full of good stuff, easy to use, didn't irritate me at all. Also lasts a lot longer than expected, and suds up more than expected. Great value for money overall. Honestly this surprised me as I bought it as my first bar soap and didn't have high expectations. Since using it, I'd happily buy again, although be warned that the charcoal does run if the bar is left on a tray to dry, so you may find some (easy to clean) black run marks on the wall.

It is a large square bar and wouldn't fit into my bar soap container so I cut the bar into three pieces and just keep one piece in shower bar soap container with sealed lid and the rest in the original box in the cupboard. That way the product will stay dry when not in use and not melt away from the shower being used. As for the bar....it is made of good quality products, smells natural and earthy. Glides nicely on the skin and rinses clean too. I have incredibly sensitive skin and this does not irritate me in anyway! It is quite expensive but if you cut it into three pieces like I have you are likely to get a much longer use out of it. I can tell this bar will last me a full year before needing a new one.

Absolutely excellent exfoliating bar, great if you have build up of dry skin or have KP. Smells lovely and feels like you use less than a big tub of body scrub. Highly recommend, I also have sensitive skin and had no skin reactions after use.
