it's a comb and it's pretty, but....
don't expect it to reduce or remove static. to the contrary, it created static where there wasn't! nice for picking out the knots in the dog hair, but also created static when there wasn't any prior to touching the hair with the comb. my own hair was smooth and static-free until i made one pass through with this comb and suddenly i looked like i stuck my finger in a socket.

Okay, time for honesty... I bought this for MY hair! It's got a gorgeous rainbow-y anodized finish, and is super sturdy. I prefer a metal comb over a brush, and it's gentle on my hair. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on my Husky, but she has her own brush! If this thing ever does break (though it doesn't look like it will ANY time soon), I'll definitely purchase one again!

Decent dog comb
I use this comb on my two Pomeranians. Their hair is thick, fluffy, and prone to mats. They both tolerate this well; my boy, who hates being brushed, is better behaved when I use this as opposed to a brush. It is a little awkward to hold, and the teeth are not as close together as I would like, but it's a good value for the money.

Worked great on kitty!
Got this for my fluffy cats tight, matted fur on his chest, and it worked great! Totally removed mats easily. Glad I don't have to take him to the groomers to get them shaved off again!

Nice!!
It's beautiful but had scratches on it and some of the combs teeth were bent a little out of place. Which wouldn't have mattered but I wasn't buying this for a dog. It's still really nice though maybe I just got one that was a little defective.
