Best rust effect I've used
This does what you want- it leaves a textured, crusty rust effect that looks as real as it gets. I like it a lot better than the AK interactive rust, which is really more of a thin paint with no texture. The only thing I DON'T like about this is that the rust dries pretty quick on the brush, so reapplying is tedious. You can reactivate it with water so it's no big deal to thin, remove or wash out- I'm guessing that's the price of the excellent texturing aspect (well worth dealing it).

The Literal Best Thing I’ve Bought in This Hobby
I should start by saying after having to take a hiatus from painting because of moving, I started anew with a dedicated desk and work space and fell in love with the Death Guard. I really yearned for and loved the “rust punk” theme and wanted to run with it. I have gotten all kinds of great paints and technical assets to help me achieve that goal after studying what everyone else was using and crafting my first ever army (compared to painting lone minis), and through a Reddit post I found this beautiful thing. I uploaded some pictures just to attest to how insanely beautiful and incredible it is. The minis in the picture aren’t completed cause I’m working on different techniques and ideas, but all I did was apply Lead Belcher, and Warplock Bronze, then applied some of the Rust and oh my god. I knew then I’d found the secret ingredient; the thing that makes your mini go from artificial rust to actual rust and make it look beautiful, defined, weathered, and just jaw-dropping. I am going to purchase more ASAP because I foresee using it in spades to finally nail that “rust punk” dream I have. Just incredible, and I meant what I said in my title by this is the single-best thing I’ve bought in this whole hobby and can’t recommend it enough for any painters. Even in non-Death Guard armies, this would give vehicles, weapons, and even architecture or terrain that “grim dark” weathered look that is just so Warhammer 40K.

Works GREAT!
A great adjunct for force aging articles. We professionally do this sort of thing and found this material (though expensive) very easy to work with producing great results.

Great rust effects
Very good rust effect. Make sure you watch some youtube tutorials before using the product as it does have some rather specific needs to work properly, like it needs to be warm and stirred, not just shaken. As stated, the results are very worth it and I do recommend it highly.

Excellent once you learn how to use it.
Final effect (when used according to the best culled together techniques from YouTube) are excellent. -1 star for Instructions that are overly simplified and lack good tips for full effect. You need to watch a Half dozen videos about the product, filter out the crap advice from the good advice, watch different users tests and THEN develop the technique from others experiences.

Best Rust Effect Paint Out There
I got a bottle of this stuff after hearing how well it worked, and I was not disappointed. I tested out different ways of applying it to these vehicles (pictured) and found it is very versatile. It applies straight from the bottle with a brush and looks really good. Add another layer on top of that and play around with it a bit and you can reactivate the dried previous layer to get some different effects. Water it down and instead of just being a lighter, or thinner layer of color, it actually gets more orange and then whitish. It sponges onto surfaces beautifully for a very quick and realistic rust effect. Flicking it from a brush onto a model creates some great spotting rust on vehicles. There is a lot you can do with this rust effect. I highly recommend it, especially if you want to create some great rust effects, but weathering just is not one of your strong points. Game changing!
