Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Detangler and Finishing Spray performs as described. It made my poodle-terrier's neglected coat look smooth, and feel fluffy, like a human's volumizing conditioner. A few sprays and the brush glides easily through tangled hair. This is not for serious mats, which require shaving or cutting off. There is no strong smell and it did not irritate my dog's sensitive skin. I researched a lot of products and the fact that professional groomers use this on show dogs made me select it over the many other options. I highly recommend this product.

We bought the Ice on Ice shampoo, conditioner and detangling spray. Absolutely love how our wavy hair doodles coat has been since using all three together. Love this product 💜 His coat is unbelievably soft and so much easier to detangling and brush out the mat prone areas. Not heavy or greasy at all! One cautionary statement though. Protect your floor from overspray as it makes the floor dangerously slippery and is really challenging to remove it from the floor. I keep finding other slippery spots where I must have stepped and deposited the product. Of course that same slipperiness is what makes the coat silky soft, and manageable. Worth the effort to throw down an old blanket or large towel!

Very light and pleasant smell, and makes my long hair dachshund’s fur incredibly soft. I use this brand’s clean start shampoo, spectrum 10 conditioner, ice detangler (on her ears), and baby G slicker brush. It’s an investment but her coat feels amazing. It’s also helping prevent matting on the super fine hair on her ears.

Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Detangler Spray works very well for brushing out tangles and keeping my dog’s coat soft and manageable between grooming sessions. It helps loosen mats without leaving the fur greasy or heavy, and brushing is much easier afterward. I also like using it as a finishing spray because it gives the coat a smooth, clean look with a nice light scent. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts quite a while.

This stuff is amazing even if it is a so so detangler. It left my lab and wire short hair terrier with silky smooth hair and it smells great too.

Bought this to help with tangles and matting. Works reasonably well for tangles but it's no "magic bullet" for matting. Definitely works well as a finishing spray and the scent is fine. In theory, it's easy to use but the sprayer I received was defective and would not properly screw onto the bottle, which causes the bottle to literally fall off the sprayer when using it. Yes, I tried several times and checked the bottle and sprayer - the threading on the sprayer and bottle don't match up properly. This makes it hard to use such that I have to hold the bottle in one hand and spray with the other. This is probably not an issue for most but I'm rating what I received.

Expensive but well worth it! I hate that all the de-tanglers I have tried have a smell but this one does not! It is also excellent at detangling. It does not irritate my skin or my dogs. The spray bottle works great and does not gum up. My dogs coat has improved so much from just intermittent uses that she is no longer getting matting…I was having to brush out mats daily on her as she is active and always in the water. For reference my dog is a Maltipoo. I do also use this on my Pomeranian and their coats are amazing since starting this! It makes them shiny and smooth!

I am glad that I finally found the detangler that really works for my golden doodle. I am grooming my dog myself at home. And to have a such good detengler makes it much easier.

Tengo un par de hermosos shih tzus a los que hay que cepillar diario porque son de manto largo, con este producto es facilísimo peinarlos, cualquier nudo se deshace en segundos, sobre todo los que se les forman por el roce del collar.

If you’re thinking of purchasing this product don’t hesitate. It is amazing. My Irish setter with his long curly hair under his ears had to go to the vets to get some matts shaved out as they were matting into his skin. Since using this product we have not had any matts. If i find a small tangle, I massage this into the hair and leave it for awhile and then comb it out. His hair is now silky smooth and tangled free

Top Produkt! Endlich habe ich eines gefunden, das macht was es soll (perfekt entwirren und das Haar seidig glänzen lassen) und dabei fast keinen Geruch hat. Hab schon mehrere probiert und alle haben so pentrant künstlich nach Kokos gerochen, dass einem schlecht wurde (und wie das dann erst für den Hund sein muss...) Bei mir war auch der Sprühaufsatz dabei (in manchen Rezensionen wurde das bemängelt) und der Aufsatz funktioniert auch sehr gut. man kann auch größere Hunde zügig damit einsprühen, auch mit feuchten Händen (das geht bei diesen kleinen Flaschen mit dem Druck-Sprühkopf oft sehr schwer). bin begeistert!
